Week 12 of the 2022 fantasy football season is nearly in the books! And it’s time to improve our rosters on the Week 13 waiver wire. Let’s take a look at the top Week 13 waiver wire pickups and targets that fantasy managers should consider adding to their rosters, which include Treylon Burks and Zonovan Knight.

Waiver Wire Pickups To Target in Week 13
Zonovan Knight, RB, New York Jets (0% Rostered)
I’m not sure how many people knew who Zonovan Knight was before this week. They certainly know who he is now.
Michael Carter left Week 12’s game with an ankle injury. With James Robinson inactive, Knight operated as the Jets’ primary back and played a team-high 47% of the snaps, carrying the ball 14 times for 69 yards and catching all three of his targets for 34 yards.
At this time, it’s unclear how long Carter will be out. However, given how quickly he was ruled out, I’d be surprised if he didn’t miss any time. Knight could be worth nothing. He could also be worth a 20-30% FAAB bid.
JaMycal Hasty, RB, Jacksonville Jaguars (2% Rostered)
Early in the game, Travis Etienne Jr. left with a foot injury. It was not the way I intended Etienne’s rushing attempts to be lower on Underdog Fantasy.
JaMycal Hasty replaced him and was a true bell cow, playing 77% of the snaps. He was inefficient on the ground, carrying the ball 12 times for just 28 yards. But he was effective through the air, catching all five of his targets for 67 yards and a touchdown.

We have no idea how much time, if any, Etienne will miss. After the game, Etienne said, “I’ll be straight for next week.” So, it sounds like nothing serious. But players are notoriously optimistic regarding their own health.
We do know that Hasty will be the guy if Etienne does miss time. I can’t give a FAAB recommendation yet, but don’t forget about Hasty when you finalize waiver claims on Tuesday night. If Etienne is out an extended period of time, Hasty will be the top waiver wire add ahead of Week 13. But it sounds like adding Hasty would be more of a handcuff move.
Treylon Burks, WR, Tennessee Titans (51% Rostered)
Treylon Burks is still playing behind Robert Woods and Nick Westbrook-Ikhine. Still, Burks is clearly the best receiver on the team. This is two productive weeks in a row for the first-round rookie, who could be poised for a big second half.
Burks caught four of six targets for 70 yards. He also recovered a Derrick Henry fumble in the end zone for a fortunate six points. That’s back-to-back games with 17+ fantasy points. He’s the top wide receiver add this week, and I would spend 20-25% of my FAAB on him.
DeAndre Carter, WR, Los Angeles Chargers (23% Rostered)
For the third time in four games, DeAndre Carter hit double-digit fantasy points. He had his best game of the season against the Cardinals, catching seven of 10 targets for 73 yards and a touchdown.
Carter is a useful player and will remain so for as long as Mike Williams is out. I don’t anticipate Williams returning next week, which will give Carter at least one more week of utility. If he’s still out there and you need a receiver this week, he’s worth a 10-15% FAAB bid.
Zay Jones, WR, Jacksonville Jaguars (24% Rostered)
Another week. Another Zay Jones appearance on the waiver wire column. He’s been a solid, if unspectacular, option all season. On Sunday, Jones had his best game of the season, catching 11 of 14 targets for 145 yards and the game-winning two-point conversion.
Jones remains an every-down player, matching Christian Kirk’s snap share. (He ran just one fewer route.) Jones is startable and should be on more rosters. He probably won’t do this again, but he’s still worth an 8-12% FAAB bid.
Nico Collins, WR, Houston Texans (24% Rostered)
Once again, Nico Collins led all Texans in snaps, routes run, and targets. He caught six of nine targets for 44 yards. Collins now has just about 10 fantasy points in five of his last six.

The Texans exist in a constant state of negative game script. They have no choice but to throw. Collins appears to have surpassed Brandin Cooks as the team’s top receiver. He doesn’t have a particularly high ceiling, but he’s a serviceable WR3/4. You can throw a 5-7% FAAB bid on him.
Kendall Hinton, WR, Denver Broncos (1% Rostered)
It’s admittedly tough to recommend anyone on the Broncos’ league-worst offense. But Kendall Hinton has operated as the Broncos’ clear WR2 during Jerry Jeudy’s absence.
Hinton saw nine targets against the Panthers, and although he only caught five of them, that volume is worth taking a shot on, at least in deeper leagues. You can likely get Hinton for a 3-5% FAAB bid. But if you can’t, I wouldn’t sweat it.
Isaiah McKenzie, WR, Buffalo Bills (33% Rostered)
After seeing his snap share decline a bit, Isaiah McKenzie was back as the clear primary slot receiver on Thanksgiving. McKenzie played 73% of the snaps and ran more than double the routes of Khalil Shakir.
McKenzie was the star of the game with six catches on 10 targets for 96 yards and a touchdown.
But despite his quality outing, I have no interest in picking McKenzie up. His spike games are random and unpredictable. If you have someone to drop, you can throw a couple bucks of FAAB on him.
DeVante Parker, WR, New England Patriots (13% Rostered)
A shoulder injury on his first snap limited Jakobi Meyers to just 16 snaps. As a result, DeVante Parker operated as the Patriots’ WR1, leading the team in snaps and routes run.
While Parker was out-targeted by Nelson Agholor, I view that as nothing more than randomness. Parker remains the preferred option.
Meyers’ injury didn’t look great, but he was able to return to the game in a limited capacity. He was out there on the team’s final play of the game.
With an extended rest between the game and Week 13, Meyers very well may be good to go next week. But if he’s not, Parker becomes a worthwhile WR3. Whether he’s worth any FAAB will depend on the reports we get on Meyers on Monday and Tuesday.
Mack Hollins, WR, Las Vegas Raiders (20% Rostered)
You will never feel confident starting Mack Hollins. However, he is the Raiders’ WR2 with Hunter Renfrow out.
Hollins has hit double-digit fantasy points and surpassed 50 receiving yards in consecutive games. The Raiders could be in another shootout with the Chargers next week. Hollins is worth a 3-5% FAAB bid if you need a spot starter.
Foster Moreau, TE, Las Vegas Raiders (39% Rostered)
It’s hard out there for tight ends. Every non-Travis Kelce/Mark Andrews tight end is basically touchdown or bust. Foster Moreau is no different, but he has scored in two of his last three. You can certainly do worse if you need a TE. Moreau is worth a 3-5% FAAB bid.
