Thursday Night Football Tonight Week 10: Who Plays, TV Channel, Start Time, Live Stream Options, and More

Who is playing Thursday Night Football tonight, what time does the game start, and how can you watch it on TV or by live streaming?

Copy. Paste. That is what it feels like as we get ANOTHER lackluster Thursday Night Football game. Tough times to be Jeff Bezos I am sure. Let’s look at who is playing tonight, what time the game starts, and how you can watch.

Who Plays on Thursday Night Football Tonight?

    Teams
Atlanta Falcons (4-5) at Carolina Panthers (2-7)

    Location
Bank of America Stadium, Charlotte, North Carolina

The Atlanta Falcons travel to Carolina to take on the Panthers during Thursday Night Football tonight. This is the second time these two teams will have played each other in the past two weeks, with the Falcons beating the Panthers in dramatic overtime fashion back in Week 8.

That victory helped propel the Falcons to the top of the NFC South with a 4-5 record. They currently share the division title with the Buccaneers, which is not a sentence I ever thought I would be typing before this season kicked off. Marcus Mariota has been putting together quite the season, and the Falcons have relied heavily on what has become one of the better rushing attacks in the league.

Atlanta currently ranks fourth in rushing yards per game (162.9), relying heavily on the reliability of Cordarrelle Patterson, the mobility of Mariota, and the outstanding play of rookie Tyler Allgeier.

Meanwhile, things are much less positive over in Carolina. After firing their head coach and trading away arguably their best player in Christian McCaffrey, this team seemingly has no pulse.

PJ Walker did not look great last week, but neither did Baker Mayfield, who came in during the second half. Could we maybe see Sam Darnold in this one? Does it really matter? The Falcons currently rank dead last in the league in passing yards allowed per game, but I highly doubt any of Walker, Mayfield, or Darnold will be able to take advantage of that.

Looking at the strengths and weaknesses of these two teams, it is hard not to lean on the side of Atlanta in this one. They are currently 2.5 favorites on the road here, which means we just need them to win by a field goal.

Carolina is 28th in the league at stopping the run. Last week, Joe Mixon had the game of his career and nearly broke the record of fantasy points scored in a single game with his five-touchdown, 153-yard rushing performance.

PFN’s Betting Director BJ Rudell broke down this game in his early picks and predictions and shared similar concerns surrounding the Panthers’ rush defense.

“We do know the Falcons’ RB triumvirate of Cordarrelle Patterson, Tyler Allgeier, and Caleb Huntley are formidable, while Carolina’s ability to sustain drives — even against a subpar Falcons defense — remains suspect. I’ll be on the less mistake-prone Falcons coming off a tough home loss, but with the personnel to score 30+ again on the Panthers.”
