Week 8’s schedule features five divisional matchups, with four kicking off on Sunday afternoon. Additionally, Philadelphia returns from its bye week ready to keep the undefeated season alive against the in-state rival Pittsburgh Steelers.
The Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Chargers are on a bye in Week 8. Below, we’ll provide information on how to watch every game on Sunday.

Denver Broncos (2-5) vs. Jacksonville Jaguars (2-5)

The Week 8 schedule begins bright and early this morning as the Denver Broncos and Jacksonville Jaguars play in the third and final London game of the season. Both the Jaguars and Broncos head to London amid four-game losing streaks. Jacksonville has fallen victim to a few bad bounces, while the problems in Denver seem to be running a bit deeper.
It has not mattered who is under the center for Denver. The Broncos’ offense simply cannot find any cohesion. A 14.3 points per game average makes them the lowest-scoring offense in the league. If Jacksonville played Denver and scored 17 points weekly this season, the Jaguars would be 6-1.
Carolina Panthers (2-5) at Atlanta Falcons (3-4)

The first divisional game of the day starts with the best and worst of the NFC South. Despite being 3-4, the Falcons currently hold first place in the division (thanks to Tampa Bay’s Thursday night loss). Meanwhile, despite a win against the Buccaneers in Week 7, Carolina is in the basement of the NFL right now.
The proficiency of the Falcons’ running game has been bigger surprises this season. It has helped churn this offense forward, as Atlanta has been a valiant winner against the spread. Last week’s loss to Cincinnati was the first week the Falcons didn’t cover, but that seemed inevitable. Here’s to hoping Atlanta’s offense looks more lively against Carolina than Tampa Bay did, but that shouldn’t be too hard.
Chicago Bears (3-4) at Dallas Cowboys (5-2)

The Chicago Bears cashed in the surprise of the week in Week 7. The 33-14 thrashing of the New England Patriots is up there with the Green Bay Packers’ season-opening no-show as one of the season’s most jaw-dropping moments. Don’t expect a repeat performance in Week 8.

The Dallas Cowboys’ defense is suffocating. It ranks second in the league in points allowed per game at just 14.9, leads the league in sacks with 29, and has pushed its turnover differential to +6. Justin Fields is about to walk into a buzzsaw at AT&T Stadium.
Miami Dolphins (4-3) at Detroit Lions (1-5)

After getting blanked in Week 5, the Lions went into their bye week hoping to fix some major issues ailing the team. Scoring six points against the Cowboys in Week 7 was not a good answer. Given everything just stated about the Cowboys’ defense, two field goals are likely not to Dan Campbell’s standards.
Meanwhile, Miami returned to the win column in QB Tua Tagovailoa’s return to the field last week. Though the offense only scored 16 points, the rushing attack is finally coming around. RB Raheem Mostert turned 20 touches into 109 scrimmage yards against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Detroit’s defense is still a concern, and not many teams have been able to stop WRs Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle when Tua is playing. I doubt the Lions will be the first.
Arizona Cardinals (3-4) at Minnesota Vikings (5-1)

The Cardinals looked like a brand new team with WR Deandre Hopkins returning from his six-game suspension. The All-Pro WR caught ten passes for 103 yards, and Arizona scored the most first-half points it has all season. Minnesota comes into this game off its bye week.
Outside of their Week 1 win against the Packers, Minnesota has won many one-score games and lost to the Eagles. The Vikings have one of the more questionable schedules this season, as the teams they’ve defeated have a combined record of 12-21. The Cardinals are ready to prove they are better than their start displayed, and a win over the Vikings would start the first winning streak of the season in Arizona.
Las Vegas Raiders (2-4) at New Orleans Saints (2-5)

The Las Vegas Raiders head to the Big Easy to take on the New Orleans Saints in a battle between two teams who desperately need to turn things around. The good news for New Orleans is that Chris Olave is healthy, and they still have Alvin Kamara. The bad news? WRs Michael Thomas and Jarvis Landry and CB Marshon Lattimore remain out.

Meanwhile, Josh McDaniels’ second HC stint has not started well. After acquiring WR Davante Adams in the offseason, the rest of the offensive weapons have fallen short. Mack Hollins is ranked second on the team in catches, targets, yards, and touchdowns behind Adams.
Derek Carr needs to take advantage of a matchup against a banged-up New Orleans secondary and start turning the Raiders’ season around.
New England Patriots (3-4) at New York Jets (5-2)

After everything that’s happened this season, it is slightly surprising to see the New England Patriots still favored against the New York Jets in this AFC East showdown at MetLife Stadium. That’s how much the Breece Hall injury means to the Jets’ offense.
Mac Jones gets the nod to start against New York. However, the leash must be short after Belichick pulled him last week. While Damien Harris and Rhamondre Stevenson can shoulder a heavy load, the Patriots desperately need one of its QBs to make the few plays necessary when asked.
Pittsburgh Steelers (2-5) at Philadelphia Eagles (6-0)

The battle for Pennsylvania may be a bit one-sided this go-round. While the Steelers offense has shown a bit more life under rookie QB Kenny Pickett’s direction, the first-year passer has also thrown seven interceptions. Meanwhile, the Eagles have yet to lose and continue strengthening their squad, as displayed by the team acquiring DE Robert Quinn in a trade with the Chicago Bears.
The Eagles have an extremely talented roster with few holes this season. Gaining depth on the defensive line helps, given Philadelphia’s low blitz rate. While the Steelers defense has provided the team with plenty of opportunities, the offense hasn’t cashed in. The Eagles’ defense makes that even more complicated today.
Tennessee Titans (4-2) at Houston Texans (1-4-1)

Welcome to the league Malik Willis. The Titans announced on Saturday that Ryan Tannehill was still sick and will not be able to play in Tennessee’s AFC South showdown against the Houston Texans. Willis will now be the fourth rookie QB to start a game this season.
Houston followed up its Week 6 bye with a dud against the Raiders. The Texans continue to be one of the worst teams in the league, but could they sneak one in against a rookie QB and team coming off a big win against the Indianapolis Colts? Maybe, but the Texans have perfected the art of snatching defeat out of the jaws of victory.
Washington Commanders (3-4) at Indianapolis Colts (3-3-1)

Both veteran QBs that the Washington Commanders and Indianapolis Colts signed in the 2022 offseason have been injured or benched as these two squads meet in Week 8. The Commanders replaced an ailing Carson Wentz with Taylor Heinicke in Week 7, while Sam Ehlinger will take over Matt Ryan’s post this week.
Heinicke already has chemistry with this offense from past seasons and a big win over the Green Bay Packers last week. Ehlinger hasn’t attempted a pass in an NFL regular season game heading into today’s contest. Washington’s defense held RB Aaron Jones to just 23 yards in Week 7. Shutting down the Colts’ running game should create a leisurely afternoon for the Commanders.
San Francisco 49ers (3-4) at Los Angeles Rams (3-3)

The final divisional matchup of the day features an NFC West bout between the San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Rams at SoFi Stadium. Can the 49ers complete their fourth straight season sweep of the Los Angeles Rams today?
HC Kyle Shanahan and new RB Christian McCaffery have had a week to implement the All-Pro into the 49ers’ offense. With that added wrinkle and the defense slowly returning from injuries, San Francisco has a chance.
The Rams, however, look like a shell of the Super Bowl 53 championship squad. The offense is struggling mightily, and the defense can only hold on for so long before the dam breaks. While the Rams’ defense will not have to focus on WR Deebo Samuel this week, McCaffery easily replaces the explosive threat.
New York Giants (6-1) at Seattle Seahawks (4-3)

Two of the biggest surprises this season go head to head in the Pacific Northwest. The New York Giants’ four-game win streak rolls into Week 8. The past three weeks have seen the Giants claw out victories against the Jaguars, Ravens, and Packers. Jacksonville was a litmus test for me to realize the Giants are better than I thought, but how good are they?
Seattle is another excellent test for the Giants. QB Geno Smith has shined, helping the Seahawks make their way to first in the NFC West. A win against the Chargers was impressive and should solidify Seattle as a wildcard contender, at the very least. A win for either team in Week 8 would continue an impressive and surprising run.
Green Bay Packers (3-4) at Buffalo Bills (5-1)

The final matchup on the NFL Games Today schedule sees the Green Bay Packers facing off against the Buffalo Bills. QB Aaron Rodgers is a double-digit underdog for the first time in his career as the spread sits at -10.5, and rightfully so.
The Packers have played uninspired football for most of the season. Rodgers looks like he has no interest in being on the field, and yet, here is another example of a defense holding on as long as it can until the opposing offense finally breaks through.
The Bills have the best offense and defense in the NFL, and outside of a Week 3 slugfest in Miami, Buffalo has been dominant. Unless the Packers have made significant breakthroughs on offense this week, it’s hard to imagine how they intend to keep up with QB Josh Allen and the Bills’ offense.
