No one would have guessed the matchup between the Denver Broncos and New York Jets would look the way it does in Week 7. In fact, the roles are a bit reversed as the Jets are 4-2 and the Broncos are 2-4. This game has some intriguing player prop bets involving Courtland Sutton, Breece Hall, and Zach Wilson.

Top Broncos vs. Jets Player Props To Target
For this key AFC matchup, we’re using every tool at our disposal to make sharp prop bets, including fantasy averages, player trends, and the best vig. Let’s dive into the best prop bets you can target.
Zach Wilson Player Props | Under 182.5 Passing Yards (-115)
The Jets are a terrific story right now as they’ve surged with second-year quarterback Zach Wilson back under center. Unfortunately, after breaking down every one of Wilson’s throws, I still don’t see a highly-capable passer at this point in his career. That doesn’t mean his breakthrough can’t happen at some point, but he’s not positively impacting the Jets right now.
Despite upgrades all around him from last year’s squad, Wilson’s performing very similarly to last year. The lone improvement has been his yards per attempt rising by 1.5 yards. That’s a bit of a jump, but his overall accuracy, interception rate, and sack rate are all still below average.
Though Wilson is averaging 190 yards passing per game, the Broncos have one of the NFL’s best three secondaries. Barring a sudden spark of chemistry with Garrett Wilson or Elijah Moore, Wilson will have a tough time creating anything in this matchup.
Courtland Sutton Player Props | Under 53.5 Receiving Yards (-110)
Like the Jets pass-catchers, I don’t see a viable way for the Broncos stars to break out. It’s possible that Brett Rypien is actually better than the ghost of Russell Wilson that we’ve seen over the last six weeks but being worse is also hard to envision. Rypien’s career achievements aren’t encouraging, though. I think Sutton will suffer the most between him and Jerry Jeudy.
Sutton is incredibly talented, but his lack of wiggle makes him more dependent on a trusting quarterback than one who is more gunshy. Rypien can be reckless, but his lack of a strong arm and great accuracy isn’t compensated for with his trust. In other words, he’s a rudderless Ryan Fitzpatrick.
Factor in how well the Jets’ secondary has played, thanks to the addition of Sauce Gardner, and I don’t see Sutton putting up even average numbers in what will be an ugly game.
Breece Hall Player Props | Over 17.5 Receiving Yards (-110)
Guess who wins the most when a quarterback doesn’t trust what he sees with his receivers downfield? The running backs. And the Jets have realized that Breece Hall is one of the two major building blocks on the unit, along with Wilson.
Hall has been excellent over the last two weeks in particular but has been making the most of his touches throughout the season.

With 42 total touches for 318 yards and two touchdowns over the last two weeks, Hall is on fire. He’s not as big of a receiving threat as a rusher because Michael Carter has the third-down role, but I think the Jets will keep relying on Hall more as the season progresses. He’s too good to siphon touches to a lesser playmaker.
Hall has three weeks well over 17.5 receiving yards, and the other three are under. The Broncos have allowed the fourth-most receptions to backs but only the 12th-most yards to the position per game. Hall should find the right balance of volume and efficiency to sneak over here.
Brandon McManus Player Props | Over 1.5 Field Goals (-105)
One of the best field goal kickers in the NFL is one of the stronger prop bet plays every week. McManus may even win some DFS competitions with this matchup. Considering how poorly each offense is quarterbacked, expect this to be a low-scoring field goal-fest.
McManus has already hit 14-of-17 field goals in six games, putting him on pace to try 45 on the season. We only need two to hit this week, and he’s a career 82 percent shot despite often trying ridiculously long attempts.
