Who plays on Thursday Night Football tonight? Time, how to watch, live stream, and more

Week 2 of the NFL season begins with a Thursday Night Football matchup between the Chiefs and Chargers. Here is how to watch all the action.

Week 1 of the NFL season has come to a close, and now Week 2 kicks off with an impressive Thursday Night Football matchup. The Los Angeles Chargers will be traveling east to take on the Kansas City Chiefs.

After both teams got victories in Week 1, this AFC West clash could hold serious implications for the division. Here is everything you need to know for tonight, including the start time, channels, streaming options, and more.

    Arrowhead Stadium, Kansas City

This one should be fun. After both of these teams earned wins in Week 1, this early-season AFC West clash already means a whole lot more. Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes used his first game of the 2022 NFL season to dismantle the Arizona Cardinals 44-21 on the road. He threw for five touchdowns and silenced all the critics that questioned what his efficiency would be without WR Tyreek Hill — who was traded to the Miami Dolphins earlier this year — in the offense.

On the other side of the ball, the Chargers and QB Justin Herbert earned a 24-19 win over the Las Vegas Raiders. Although it wasn’t as dominant as the Chiefs’ win against the Cardinals, Herbert still made some impressive throws, clearly picking up where he left off in 2021.

The total on most sportsbooks right now is sitting higher than any other game on the board at 54.5. What is that telling us? Well, we can expect a ton of points. With WR Keenan Allen potentially out for this game due to an injury, will the Chargers’ offense be as effective as in Week 1? Will Khalil Mack continue to be as dominant as last week after posting three sacks, four quarterback hits, and a forced fumble?

What does PFN’s Betting Director BJ Rudell think will happen in this Amazon Prime Thursday Night Football matchup? Here is what he wrote in his early Week 2 betting predictions.

“This betting line could shift even more in the Chiefs’ favor depending on Keenan Allen’s health outlook. Kansas City looked locked in on the road against Arizona, while LA racked up only 48 yards in their final five offensive drives versus the Raiders. The Chargers need a nearly flawless performance to push past KC on the road. I’m not seeing it.”
