The first week of the 2022 NFL schedule is nearly over, but football fans can find solace in Monday Night Football tonight. One last game, but it is a doozy. Russell Wilson will be making his Denver Broncos debut, and it just happens to be against his former team, the Seattle Seahawks. Here is everything you need to know for tonight, including the start time, channels, streaming options, and more.
Who plays on Monday Night Football tonight?
Game: Denver Broncos vs. Seattle Seahawks
Location: Lumen Field, Seattle, Washington
We already knew that the AFC West was going to be one of the toughest divisions in the NFL this season. However, after watching the Kansas City Chiefs dismantle the Arizona Cardinals, combined with a hard-fought battle between the Los Angeles Chargers and Las Vegas Raiders, all the pressure will now be on the Denver Broncos to keep up.
Luckily for them, Russell Wilson is now at the helm, and he has a plethora of weapons surrounding him. After not posting a winning season since 2016, the Broncos made the drastic move to trade a ton of assets to Seattle to bring in the veteran QB. With lofty expectations, the Broncos will need to prove that mortgaging the future for Wilson was the right thing to do.
On the other side of the ball, the Seattle Seahawks opted not to replace Wilson with a QB in this past year’s draft class or to bring one in via free agency. Instead, they allowed Drew Lock and Geno Smith to battle it out during training camp. Smith ultimately came out the victor in part thanks to his experience and knowledge of the team. Will he remain the starter for long, or will we see Lock come into this game if it gets out of hand?
