    NFL coverage map Week 1: TV schedule for FOX, CBS broadcasts

    The NFL is back, and so is the weekly NFL coverage map. What games are will be broadcast on TV in your area this weekend?

    With the return of the NFL comes the weekly NFL coverage map. The NFL schedule has 13 games being played on Sunday, with both CBS and FOX hosting games in the early and late coverage windows.

    This week’s NFL TV and coverage map are provided by 506 Sports. The color codes and what games they correspond to are listed below. Listings include FOX, CBS, and prime-time games on NFL Network, NBC, and ESPN. These maps are subject to change throughout the week.

    Red: Pittsburgh Steelers @ Cincinnati Bengals

    The Super Bowl runner-up Cincinnati Bengals host divisional rival Pittsburgh Steelers in the early CBS window this Sunday. While Joe Burrow and the Bengals begin their campaign to prove last year’s success wasn’t a fluke, the Steelers will be led by someone not-named Ben Roethlisberger.

    The NFL coverage map for the early FOX window shows a lot of red, meaning most people, specifically in the Midwest and West Coast, will watch the 49ers take on the Bears. While the matchup doesn’t seem exciting on paper, the 49ers are bringing in a new era with second-year QB Trey Lance under center while the Bears get a fresh start with Matt Eberflus as their head coach.
