Monday Night Football is not usually synonymous with college, but exceptionally in Week 1, there is one college football game that will dominate the prime time hour tonight. What college football games are on today and how can you watch them either on TV or by live streaming?
Monday’s CFB schedule: What college football games are on today?
Between Saturday and Sunday, we had a massive 76-game slate to take in. Before jumping into the lone college football game we have today, make sure to check out PFN’s College Football Players of the Week and Team of the Week.
The lone college football game today is an ACC battle between Clemson and Georgia Tech. The fourth-ranked Tigers are technically the road team as they take on the Yellow Jackets in the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game Monday night.
Last year, Clemson finished the season 10-3 overall with a 20-13 victory over Iowa State in the Cheez-It Bowl. Georgia Tech, meanwhile, had another tough year finishing 3-9. It was the third straight year that Georgia Tech finished with just three wins. Due to their recent struggles, it is easy to see why head coach Geoff Collins is clearly on the hot seat.
Although it was technically a “down year” for the Tigers in 2021, they still won double-digit games. They bring back a ton of players, seven on offense and six on defense. However, both the offensive and defensive coordinators from last year are gone, so they will be breaking in new systems on both sides of the ball.
