PFN Preseason All-Pac-12 Team 2022: Utah runs the conference until proven otherwise

The PFN All-Pac-12 Team awards the top players on both sides of the ball from the conference ahead of the 2022 college football season.

The Pac-12 runs through Utah, as indicated by the volume of Utes on our Preseason All-Pac-12 Team. Utah is headlined by the conference’s top returning quarterback in Cam Rising. But unlike in recent college football seasons, their strength is on offense. Presented in conjunction with our release of our College Football All-Americans, we at PFN debut our 2022 preseason All-SEC Team, as voted on by our team of national analysts and NFL draft evaluators.

    PFN’s 2022 All-Pac-12 Team

It is important to note that these teams may look a bit different than the all-conference teams listed by each individual conference. Our teams mirror our All-Americans, taking into consideration not only what a player has accomplished to date but looking forward to what we expect to see based on the growth of the athlete’s career.

Utah’s Rising takes the top spot, but Tavion Thomas and the dual-threat tight end combination of Dalton Kincaid and Brant Kuithe should give defenses fits. Oregon State is represented by one of the top offensive linemen in the country as Brandon Kipper kicks inside after some stalwart seasons at tackle. He wasn’t the only Beaver offensive lineman to earn a nod as Marco Brewer landed on the second team.

USC brings in a ton of talent with the new coaching staff under Lincoln Riley. Most notably, of course, is quarterback Caleb Williams who should once again take major headlines. The Trojans are set to join the Big Ten, but for one last season, they can give it a go to win the Pac-12 before ultimately jettisoning the conference with crosstown rival UCLA.
