Teams that are holding workouts for Adomitis include the Atlanta Falcons and Cincinnati Bengals, according to league sources.

One of three Pitt standouts invited to the prestigious Senior Bowl along with quarterback Kenny Pickett and defensive back Damarri Mathis, Adomitis started for five consecutive seasons (64 games). He was also named an All-Atlantic Coast Conference selection.

At the Senior Bowl, he had a tackle in punt coverage. The 6-foot-1, 235-pound former Central Catholic standout won the Patrick Mannelly award as the top collegiate long snapper and was named All-American by the American Football Coaches Association.

At the NFL scouting combine, Adomitis ran the 40-yard dash in 4.97 seconds. He bench pressed 225 pounds 18 times and had a 29 1/2 inch vertical leap and an 8-11 broad jump with a 4.62 short shuttle. He had a 7.53 three-cone drill time.

Adomitis was voted a team captain by his teammates at Pitt and honored for his commitment to community service. He launched Cal’s Kids, an initiative to raise $115,000 for the UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh.
