Bills vs. Chiefs FanDuel DFS Picks: Best DFS lineup includes Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen, and Byron Pringle

Are you competing in a Bills vs. Chiefs DFS tournament? Here is our favorite FanDuel lineup for Sunday's Divisional Round matchup.

If you’re competing in a DFS tournament or 50/50 competition for Sunday’s Divisional playoff game between the Bills and Chiefs, then you’ve come to the right place. We’ve run through dozens of potential game scripts to arrive at the most likely scenarios and how these scenarios would impact fantasy football performances. Here are our two top recommended Bills vs. Chiefs DFS lineups, based on FanDuel pricing.

Top NFL DFS FanDuel picks for Bills vs. Chiefs | Lineup No. 1

This lineup assumes the Bills win with their quarterbacks, starting running back, and No. 1 wideout. It also assumes Patrick Mahomes is forced to spread the ball around against a tough defense known for limiting offensive outputs.

Josh Allen, QB, Buffalo Bills ($17,500)

If you have a DFS MVP slot, Josh Allen belongs there. His exceptional rushing ability and expansive range of receiving targets make him nearly unstoppable. Of course, “nearly” is the keyword. The Falcons destroyed him in the passing game in Week 17, and the Jaguars handed him his worst performance of the season in a mind-numbing Buffalo defeat. However, Allen is one of this game’s two safest DFS options.

Stefon Diggs, WR, Buffalo Bills ($13,500)

We’re going big on the relatively pricey Stefon Diggs. Fantasy’s WR10 in points per game was the fifth-most-targeted receiver this season. We could snag Dawson Knox for $12,500 instead or someone like Cole Beasley for $9,500. But why? This lineup includes three high-ceiling options. Diggs is an important part of the equation.

Devin Singletary, RB, Buffalo Bills ($13,000)

This might seem like a lot to pay. But Devin Singletary finally has emerged from a timeshare backfield to assume his rightful place as a top-20 RB. To understand how painfully underutilized he was for much of this season, Singletary had only 2 touchdowns in his first 13 games.

Yet, he has 8 TDs in his last five contests. It’s been an incredible turnaround marked by earned trust from his coaches. Facing a beatable run defense, Singletary makes sense in this slate.

Mecole Hardman, WR, Kansas City Chiefs ($8,500)

Here’s where we need to get more creative. With $15,500 remaining, cheaper bargains are essential. We have three guys who could secure 20+ fantasy points each. The next step is finding a boom-or-bust option: Mecole Hardman fits the bill. The $10,000 Byron Pringle seems to have overtaken him on the depth chart. That said, Hardman’s comfortably outperformed expectations four times this season. He’s a worthwhile dart throw.

Demarcus Robinson, WR, Kansas City Chiefs ($7,500)

It’s not that we trust Demarcus Robinson to come through. We simply can’t. He’s typically the No. 5 wideout, and the Bills’ defense doesn’t take kindly to No. 5 wideouts. But Robinson — paired with Hardman — is an affordable hedge. They should combine for 7+ receptions and 60+ yards. The biggest question is, can one find the end zone? If we can secure 19+ fantasy points between these two, this slate should be strong enough to win money.

Top NFL DFS FanDuel picks for Bills vs. Chiefs | Lineup No. 2

This lineup takes a slightly different approach, where Mahomes outperforms Allen. Mahomes and Byron Pringle replace Stefon Diggs and Devin Singletary, and Mahomes replaces Allen in the DFS MVP slot.

Patrick Mahomes, QB, Kansas City Chiefs ($17,000)

The Chiefs have waited 15 weeks for this rematch. They lost to Buffalo 38-20 in Week 5, part of Kansas City’s early-season scuffling that led some to wonder if they were even playoff material. However, Mahomes and the Chiefs have stormed back. This lineup assumes this revenge game will go in the home team’s favor, thanks in large part to their franchise quarterback.

Byron Pringle, WR, Kansas City Chiefs ($10,000)

We were close to inserting the $9,500 Harrison Butker in this spot. After all, this could be a low-scoring affair against Buffalo’s frequent bend-but-don’t-break defense. Yet, the Bills are yielding the second-fewest fantasy points to opposing kickers — that’s a difficult stat to overlook.

Pringle is a slightly better bet than Hardman, which is why he’s $2,000 more expensive. Still, he’s worth the investment. He has two multi-touchdown games in his last four contests, coinciding with Tyreek Hill’s injury woes and on-field struggles. If Pringle leads this receiving corps once again, no one should be surprised.
