NFL Games Today TV Schedule | Week 18
The AFC West teams kicked things off on Saturday and will wrap things up tonight as the Chargers and Raiders play for the postseason.
Cincinnati Bengals (10-6) at Cleveland Browns (7-9)
- Channel: FOX
- Start time: 1 PM ET
- Live stream:
- Sling
- Hulu + Live TV
- fuboTV
- YouTube TV
Cincinnati clinched the AFC North in Week 17 in a thrilling 34-31 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs. With no path to the No. 1 seed, QB Joe Burrow will rest this week in preparation for the postseason, putting backup Brandon Allen under center. Browns backup QB Case Keenum will also start after Cleveland put Baker Mayfield on the injured reserve.
There’s not much at stake for Cincinnati. More importantly, Burrow has played all 16 games under center this season. Meanwhile, Cleveland has gutted out some severely understaffed weeks due to injuries and COVID. QB play has been the story of many games this season. The Browns have endured that, which gives them an edge this week. Also, with Bengals RB Joe Mixon on the reserve/COVID-19 list, Cleveland might have the advantage offensively if it can figure out a plan of attack for the rushing game.
Green Bay Packers (13-3) at Detroit Lions (2-13-1)
- Channel: FOX
- Start time: 1 PM ET
- Live stream:
- Sling
- Hulu + Live TV
- fuboTV
- YouTube TV
There’s no rest for the wicked … and Aaron Rodgers. Green Bay has already clinched the NFC North and home-field advantage. However, a week of rest would mean the Packers’ starting QB wouldn’t play for two weeks. Will he play the whole game? That remains to be seen, but the 2021 MVP candidate will take the field when things kick off at 1 PM.
Detroit head coach Dan Campbell hasn’t had the best season, losing 13 games in his first year. Yet, the atmosphere around the team doesn’t feel as glum. The Lions have played admirably this season despite their record. No one was expecting a playoff-caliber campaign, but the way Detroit stayed in games throughout the season was astonishing. Can Campbell add a third pair of knee caps to his list in 2021?
Chicago Bears (6-10) at Minnesota Vikings (7-9)
- Channel: FOX
- Start time: 1 PM ET
- Live stream:
- Sling
- Hulu + Live TV
- fuboTV
- YouTube TV
Andy Dalton takes the field for Chicago after the Bears placed rookie QB Justin Fields on the reserve/COVID-19 list this week. Neither team has anything to play for other than pride. In a divisional game, that makes things even more meaningful. Can Mike Zimmer salvage any chances of staying with Minnesota this week with an in-division smack-down?
Washington Football Team (6-10) at New York Giants (4-12)
- Channel: FOX
- Start time: 1 PM ET
- Live stream:
- Sling
- Hulu + Live TV
- fuboTV
- YouTube TV
This NFL game today is expected to be the Washington franchise’s last under the Football Team moniker. Earlier this week, team president Jason Wright revealed the team would announce its new name on February 2, 2022. Their last ride as the Football Team sees them taking on a Giants team ready for this season to be over.
Jake Fromm starts under center for the Giants with Mike Glennon out and Daniel Jones on IR. WR Kadarius Toney’s season has also ended after being ruled out this week. Washington should pull out a win in preparation for a new era.
Indianapolis Colts (9-7) at Jacksonville Jaguars (2-14)
- Channel: CBS
- Start time: 1 PM ET
- Live stream:
- Sling
- Hulu + Live TV
- fuboTV
- YouTube TV
They’re calling it “The Klown Out.” Jaguars fans are not happy with owner Shad Khan’s intentions on sticking with general manager Trent Baalke. A movement has grown this week where fans will be dressed up as clowns at the game to protest Khan’s decisions and handling of the team.
Meanwhile, the Colts have played well this year and look to do something they haven’t done since 2014 — win in Jacksonville. QB Carson Wentz had a rough outing in Week 17. However, given his week of COVID protocol, I’ll let it slide. RB Jonathan Taylor continues to run possessed and has an opportunity for a massive game against the worst team in the league.
Pittsburgh Steelers (8-7-1) at Baltimore Ravens (8-8)
- Channel: CBS
- Start time: 1 PM ET
- Live stream:
- Sling
- Hulu + Live TV
- fuboTV
- YouTube TV
While both teams still have a chance at a postseason appearance, that percentage is minuscule. These teams are playing for pride, but that’s what happens every time the Steelers and Ravens face off.
Pittsburgh got rookie RB Najee Harris going last week and should take advantage of it again against a Ravens defense limping to the offseason. After playing his last game at Heinz Field in Week 17, Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger suits up for what is expected to be the final game of his NFL career today.
Tennessee Titans (11-5) at Houston Texans (4-12)
- Channel: CBS
- Start time: 1 PM ET
- Live stream:
- Sling
- Hulu + Live TV
- fuboTV
- YouTube TV
The Titans come into Week 18 after manhandling the Dolphins 34-3. Houston has played some good football over the last few weeks with some inspiring performances from Davis Mills. However, Tennessee is too big of a juggernaut for the Texans to take down. RB D’Onta Foreman gashed Miami’s defense for 132 yards and a touchdown. Houston’s defense should put up even less resistance.
Late-Afternoon Week 18 NFL Games Today TV Schedule
Week 18’s games are split evenly among Sunday’s early and late windows. With six games set to kick off at 4:25 PM, let’s dive into the action.
New Orleans Saints (8-8) at Atlanta Falcons (7-9)
- Channel: FOX
- Start time: 4:25 PM ET
- Live stream:
- Sling
- Hulu + Live TV
- fuboTV
- YouTube TV
There still is a chance for New Orleans to make the postseason. And it all starts with a win on Sunday against the Falcons.
The Saints defense is one of the top units in the league and continues to dominate when given any support from the offense. Taysom Hill is back under center, and the offense looked a bit better but must be addressed in the offseason.
New York Jets (4-12) at Buffalo Bills (10-6)
- Channel: CBS
- Start time: 4:25 PM ET
- Live stream:
- Sling
- Hulu + Live TV
- fuboTV
- YouTube TV
The Bills’ playoff hopes were slipping at the beginning of December, but queue up a turnaround, and they look like one of the AFC’s frontrunners yet again. Josh Allen resembles what he looked like early in the season, the defense is playing very well despite missing Tre’Davious White, and they play the lowly Jets. The Bills grab their 11th win and lock up the AFC East.
San Francisco 49ers (9-7) at Los Angeles Rams (12-4)
- Channel: FOX
- Start time: 4:25 PM ET
- Live stream:
- Sling
- Hulu + Live TV
- fuboTV
- YouTube TV
NFC West games are always interesting, and San Francisco having Los Angeles’ number over the past few seasons has been evident. Nevertheless, Matthew Stafford has emerged from his mid/late-season funk and has this offense rolling. The defense has had some ups and downs but is coming together at the right time, holding opponents to 16.4 points over the last five weeks.
San Francisco is consistently playing the same brand of physical, tough football week in and week out. Can the Rams outmuscle the 49ers in the NFC West finale to secure the No. 2 seed?
New England Patriots (10-6) at Miami Dolphins (8-8)
- Channel: CBS
- Start time: 4:25 PM ET
- Live stream:
- Sling
- Hulu + Live TV
- fuboTV
- YouTube TV
A lot has changed for these two franchises since they faced off in Week 1 of the season. That matchup resulted in a win for Miami, but New England is the team that will be playing next week in the postseason.
There’s a chance to steal the AFC East from the Bills, but Miami has been a weird place for the Patriots to play over the years. Moreover, the Patriots will face a Miami squad with a lot on the line despite being knocked out of playoff contention.
A win in Week 18 for the Dolphins would go a long way for Brian Flores’ future in Miami. Tua’s performance this afternoon will also be his last chance to make any claim for the 2022 starting QB job before the offseason is upon us. Be ready for a close, fun, thrilling game between two teams looking to end the regular season on a positive note.
Seattle Seahawks (6-10) at Arizona Cardinals (11-5)
- Channel: FOX
- Start time: 4:25 PM ET
- Live stream:
- Sling
- Hulu + Live TV
- fuboTV
- YouTube TV
Arizona fell on tough times losing three of their last four games and tumbling from the top of the NFC. However, they found a way to win in Week 17, despite a feverish comeback attempt from the Dallas Cowboys.
Seattle has had a rough season, and despite some recent success, the problems that plague this offense and defense will be on full display this afternoon. Many questions loom surrounding Russell Wilson’s future in Seattle. Arizona gets one more win before their postseason run while kicking off a possible 2022 offseason roster re-shuffling for Seattle.
Carolina Panthers (5-11) at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (12-4)
- Channel: CBS
- Start time: 4:25 PM ET
- Live stream:
- Sling
- Hulu + Live TV
- fuboTV
- YouTube TV
In the final game of Week 18’s Sunday slate and the final NFL game of the regular season, the Carolina Panthers head to Raymond James Stadium today to take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. This week, things haven’t been easy around the Buccaneers facility with all the drama surrounding WR Antonio Brown. But make no mistake, Tampa Bay will be ready to play against the Panthers. They are currently sitting third in the NFC, and their only hope for the No. 2 seed is a Rams loss.
Carolina has had a tumultuous season marred by injuries. The front office has already backed HC Matt Rhule for another campaign so a disappointing performance this week shouldn’t affect his standing. Tampa gets one more win in their postseason tune-up game.
