Week 15 Kicker Streamers
Here are a few kickers to consider streaming in your Week 15 lineups. As the conditions begin to change with winter coming, note whether games are indoors or which might be subject to inclement weather when choosing kickers for the upcoming week.
Jason Sanders, Miami Dolphins
Jason Sanders was not just one of the best kickers last season — he was the best, finishing as the K1 on the season. 2021 has been a much different story as Sanders is the K20 this year. He’s been a disappointment thanks to a lack of scoring opportunities, a reduction in 50+ yard field goals, and a drop in accuracy. He has made 17 of 23 field-goal attempts and 25 of 26 extra points.
But do you know what cures all ailments? Taking on the New York Jets. I expect the Dolphins to have success against them. Even if they don’t score touchdowns, Miami can get close enough for Sanders to be within range. He’s a sneaky streamer for Week 15.
Dustin Hopkins, Los Angeles Chargers
Since joining the Chargers, Dustin Hopkins has been one of the best kickers in fantasy — and that continued last week in the Chargers’ 37-21 win over the Giants. Hopkins converted on all 4 extra points and went 3 for 3 on field-goal attempts.
As a Charger, he is 12 of 14 on field goals and 10 of 12 on extra points. Hopkins benefits from an offense that has scored 35 or more points in three of their last four games. He takes on the Chiefs in Los Angeles in what should be another high-scoring affair. Hopkins should be a top-10 option for fantasy managers.
Evan McPherson, Cincinnati Bengals
In Sunday’s 26-23 overtime loss to the 49ers, Evan McPherson connected on both of his extra points and made 3 of 4 field goals, with his lone miss coming from 46 yards out. Despite that miss, McPherson has made multiple field goals in three of the last four games while connecting on 10 of 11 field-goal attempts and 10 of 12 extra-point tries during that time.
As a rookie kicking in one of the more difficult divisions due to wind and weather, McPherson is the K5 on the season. I don’t see him slowing down in Week 15 against the Denver Broncos, who allow the 26th-most fantasy points to opposing kickers.
