Fantasy TE Tiers and Streamers Week 13: Pat Freiermuth, Logan Thomas, and Jack Doyle in streaming consideration

With Week 13 ahead of us, how do our TE tiers and streamers shape up, and who offers the most value against plus matchups?

Week 13 will be a rough one in the fantasy football landscape with the Packers, Panthers, Browns, and Titans all on bye. But fortunately, those bye weeks don’t impact the tight end position much. How do our TE tiers and streamers shape up, and who offers the most value in Week 13?

    Week 13 Streamers

If you’re looking for streaming options at the TE position this week, there are a few options out there that have me excited enough to pound the table for.

Logan Thomas @ Las Vegas Raiders

What’s old is new again. Logan Thomas, a breakout tight end in 2020, is back on the field and assuming his normal role in the offense as a back-end TE1. In his first game back from injury, which had him sidelined since Week 5, Thomas logged a 79% snap share and had 6 targets.

The performance was underwhelming, catching only 3 passes for 31 yards, but the fact that he made it through the game healthy is all that I really wanted to see in Week 12. If he’s available on your waivers (he’s currently rostered in only 56% of NFL.com fantasy leagues), then scoop him up and play him against a Raiders defense that’s allowing the most fantasy points per game to opposing tight ends. He’s a must-start this week.

    Pat Freiermuth vs. Baltimore Ravens

Riddle me this, Batman. How is the TE4 since Week 6 available in over 50% of fantasy leagues? Answer — no clue. But he is, and you need to fix that immediately. Pat Freiermuth’s rostership percentage has actually dropped this week with news that he’s been in the concussion protocol, making him available in 57% of leagues.

But guess what? Freiermuth practiced in full on Wednesday, making this much ado about nothing. He’s on track to play this Sunday against Baltimore and locked in as a starting option against a defense that allowed Harrison Bryant and David Njoku of the Browns to combine for 85 yards and a TD last week.

    Jack Doyle @ Houston Texans

Remember Jack Doyle? He feels like someone that has been a member of the Colts since John Madden was calling plays on Monday Night Football. After being mostly dormant to start the year, Doyle exploded for 81 yards and a TD against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 12.

The Houston Texans are generous to TEs, allowing the eighth-most fantasy points per game to the position. After a rough loss last week, the Colts will try to get back in the win column and hunt down the Tennessee Titans in the AFC South. Running back Jonathan Taylor should have another great day, but don’t be surprised if Doyle is a red-zone threat once again.
