Every Sunday since 2013, football fans have turned to “Fox NFL Kickoff” to kickstart their NFL coverage. With its popularity continuing to rise, let’s take a look at the current panel, when the long-running show airs, and how you can tune in each week.
Who Is on the ‘Fox NFL Kickoff’ Cast in 2024?
When “Fox NFL Kickoff” premiered over a decade ago, it was quite different from its current format. The initial two seasons were hosted by Joel Klatt, with former NFL players Randy Moss, Brian Urlacher, and Donovan McNabb providing commentary and analysis on the week’s games.
After the show transitioned from FS1 to Fox, the lineup saw several changes. Former cast members included Champ Bailey and Tony Gonzalez, among others. With the move to Fox, longtime analyst Colin Cowherd joined Charissa Thompson to host the revamped version of “Fox NFL Kickoff”.
Cowherd is an American sports media personality who began his career with ESPN in 2003. Thompson, a television host and sportscaster, launched her career in 2007.
Joining Cowherd and Thompson for the 2024 season are the following cast members.
Michael Vick | Analyst (2017–present)
Michael Vick, a former NFL quarterback, played 13 seasons in the league. He was the first quarterback to rush for 1,000 yards in a single season and holds the record for most rushing yards by a quarterback, with 6,109 yards.
Julian Edelman | Analyst (2023–present)
A seventh-round pick by the New England Patriots, Edelman played 12 seasons in the NFL before retiring after 2020. He finished his career as a three-time Super Bowl champion and one-time Super Bowl MVP. He joined the Fox crew for the first time in 2023.
Charles Woodson | Analyst (2021–present)
The Oakland Raiders selected Charles Woodson with the fourth overall pick in the 1998 NFL Draft. Woodson played in the NFL until 2015 and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2021.
Peter Schrager | Analyst and insider (2018–present)
Peter Schrager is an analyst on “Fox NFL Kickoff” and a sideline reporter for Fox Sports. Additionally, he serves as an analyst for “Good Morning Football” on the NFL Network.
Cooper Manning | Contributor (2015–present)
Cooper Manning is the eldest son of former professional football quarterback Archie Manning and the older brother of former NFL quarterbacks Peyton and Eli Manning.
Josh Norman | Frequent guest analyst (2016–present)
Josh Norman is currently a free agent cornerback, most recently playing with the Buffalo Bills in 2023. The Carolina Panthers drafted him in the fifth round of the 2012 NFL Draft.

“Fox NFL Kickoff” kicks off the network’s weekly coverage, starting at 11 a.m. ET on Sunday mornings and is followed by “Fox NFL Sunday.”
“Fox NFL Sunday,” which premiered on Sept. 4, 1994, is considered the flagship Fox pregame show and has been the most popular NFL pregame show for nearly two decades.
