Thursday night’s Baltimore Ravens vs. Miami Dolphins game features two polar opposite franchises who are once again playing to their recent track records. The Ravens are on pace for their fourth consecutive playoff appearance. On the other hand, the Dolphins are on pace for their fifth consecutive season without a postseason berth and their fourth losing season in five years. Let’s take a look at the current NFL odds, the TV channel, how to live stream this Week 10 prime-time matchup, and a Ravens vs. Dolphins prediction.
Baltimore Ravens vs. Miami Dolphins prediction and odds | Week 10
- Spread: Ravens -7.5 (-105)
- Moneyline: Ravens -335, Dolphins +260
- Over/Under: 46.5 (Over -110, Under -110)
- Odds from DraftKings sportsbook
To say that the Ravens have owned the Dolphins over the last decade would be a dramatic understatement. The Ravens have covered the spread in their last nine meetings with the Dolphins, going 8-1 straight up in those nine matchups. Baltimore’s average margin of victory over their last three meetings with Miami is a whopping 40.3 points.
[bet-promo id=”149453″]That said, the Ravens are just 1-5 against the spread in their last six games overall as a favorite.
The game total feels a bit low for a game involving Lamar Jackson and the Ravens. In fact, it’s the second-lowest total in 2021 for a Baltimore game. The over has cashed in five of Baltimore’s eight games this season. Additionally, the over has cashed in five of Miami’s last six games against a team with a winning record.
Ravens vs. Dolphins prediction
We do not know which quarterback will start on Thursday night for the Dolphins, as Tua Tagovailoa recovers from an injured middle finger sustained two games ago in Buffalo. Of course, it probably doesn’t matter all that much who is under center. The Dolphins are averaging 19 points per game when Tua takes the majority of snaps and 15.8 points per game when Jacoby Brissett does.
Then again, that’s the kind of offensive output one would expect when you play behind one of the worst offensive lines in the league.
The Dolphins have been unable to find any offensive tackle pairing on the roster that resembles NFL quality. Liam Eichenberg, Austin Jackson, and Jesse Davis have all shared duties at tackle in 2021 — and all rank towards the bottom in sacks allowed and pressures allowed, getting beat with the kind of regularity that makes you wonder if these players are even worthy of NFL roster spots, never mind starting jobs.
Defensively, the Dolphins come off a strong performance where they forced 4 turnovers while allowing just 272 yards and 9 points — the fewest points Miami has allowed since Week 1 in New England. Of course, last week’s performance was against the Houston Texans, one of only two teams who have been worse than the Dolphins in 2021.
Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens
Even when Miami’s defense is good, the two things that have given this unit fits are mobile quarterbacks and talented pass-catching tight ends. The Ravens check both of those boxes. Jackson has been as good as ever, ranking ninth in pass yards and sixth in rushing yards through the NFL’s first nine weeks. Mark Andrews, meanwhile, enters Thursday’s game second among tight ends in receiving yards and fifth in yards per reception among TEs with at least 20 receptions.
Miami’s defense has been a shell of what it was last season, while Baltimore has one of the best offenses in the NFL, ranking 11th in expected points added (EPA) per play and fifth in yards per play (6.1). Baltimore has only been held under 380 yards of offense one time in 2021 — and they still scored 34 points in that game.

In fact, the Ravens have gone over 30 points in four of their eight games this season. In other words, the Dolphins will have to score points — something they have struggled to do — to be competitive on Thursday night.
Baltimore’s defense has not been the dominant unit we’ve come to expect, allowing 6.3 yards per play (31st in NFL) and 24.4 points per game (21st in NFL). Still, Miami’s offense will again be without two of their top three wide receivers (DeVante Parker and Will Fuller). It would be stunning if Miami can score enough to keep pace with Jackson and the Ravens.
Ravens vs. Dolphins prediction: Ravens 30, Dolphins 17
