With seven weeks of the NFL season now behind us, it’s time for fantasy football managers to set their lineups and dive into each position for Week 8. At a position with a tendency to lack weekly upside, here are our Fantasy Football TE Tiers and Streamers for Week 8.

TE Streamers for Week 8
Rather than focus on the top-tier fantasy football players, let’s look at the tight ends who might be going under the radar for Week 8. For this, we are using a roster percentage cutoff of 60%, meaning many of these TEs should be available in your fantasy football league.
Jared Cook, Los Angeles Chargers (56% rostered)
Jared Cook has seen 5+ targets in five of six games and 7 in two of his last three. In both of those games, Cook also found the end zone. Cook is receiving a 13.8% target share and is tied for second on the team in red-zone targets with Mike Williams (5).
The Patriots are a difficult matchup (No. 2), but the best tight end they have faced is Dalton Schultz. Coming off a bye week, the Chargers have had an extra week to rest and prepare for this game. Cook comes in as a mid-TE2 who is a streamer in fantasy for Week 8.
C.J. Uzomah, Cincinnati Bengals (45% rostered )
C.J. Uzomah had himself a game in Week 7 in the blowout of the Baltimore Ravens. In a game where the Bengals seemingly could do no wrong, he hauled in all 3 of his targets for 91 yards and 2 touchdowns, one of which came on a 55-yard reception.
His 24.1 PPR points in Week 7 was the second time he has surpassed the 20-point threshold this season. He’s been a boom-or-bust TE, no doubt about it. Just over the last four weeks, Uzomah has received totals of 95, 16, 15, and 91 yards, respectively. But he’s also scored 5 touchdowns over this stretch.
There is something to say when it comes to riding the hot hand, but chasing points is also tricky. However, they get the New York Jets in Week 8, who are No. 25 in fantasy points allowed to the position at 16.4. Uzomah is a streaming option in Week 8 who could have another solid week.
Mo Alie-Cox, Indianapolis Colts (16% rostered)
If you’re looking at guys who are touchdown-dependent, Mo Alie-Cox fits the bill. He’s not running a ton of routes, and in the last three games, Jack Doyle has out-snapped him 70.3% to 52.7%. But with the way Carson Wentz is playing, you have to take a hard look at Alie-Cox.
He’s become one of the top red-zone targets for the Colts and has 4 touchdowns over his last four games. If you look at the matchup, the No. 5 ranked Titans would seem like a team to avoid until you look at who they have played. Outside of Travis Kelce (7 receptions for 65 yards), they have played no one. If I am desperate for a TE2 who could be a streamer option in Week 8, Alie-Cox is my guy.
