    Fantasy football WR injury report

With several major fantasy football WR options on the latest injury report update this week, what does it mean for their fantasy managers?

Tennessee Titans WR injury report update

It has been a tough week for Titans WRs, but what is the situation after the latest injury report came out?

    A.J. Brown

Having missed practice all week for the Titans with a hamstring injury, it is no surprise that Brown has been ruled out of Tennessee’s Week 4 clash with the Jets. The young receiver was on the injury report in Week 3 with a knee issue but managed to suit up. However, he left last week’s game early and did not return.

    Julio Jones

The Titans will be without their top two receivers for this week’s matchup against the Jets. Much like Brown, Jones also missed practice this week with a hamstring injury. He will miss the Week 4 contest vs. Zach Wilson and Co.

Chester Rogers, Cameron Batson, and Nick Westbrook-Ikhine all figure to see increased targets in the absence of Brown and Jones.

Seattle Seahawks WRs on the injury report

Should fantasy football managers be concerned with both of the Seahawks’ main WRs appearing on the injury report this week?

    DK Metcalf

After Metcalf appeared on the Seahawks’ injury report as a limited participant with a foot injury Thursday, there were concerns for his availability heading into the weekend. However, Metcalf does not carry an injury designation heading into the game Sunday. He should be a full go for fantasy managers.

    Tyler Lockett

One WR who does appear on the injury report and should cause concern for fantasy managers is Tyler Lockett. Lockett was limited in practice Wednesday and downgraded to a non-participant Thursday. As a result, he heads into the weekend with a questionable designation.

With Lockett hurting and D’Wayne Eskridge listed as doubtful, Freddie Swain and potentially Penny Hart figure to see increased snaps against the 49ers.

Pittsburgh Steelers WR injury report update

The Steelers have question marks surrounding their top three WRs heading into Week 4, but what should fantasy managers consider doing about the latest news?

    Chase Claypool

After appearing on the injury report as a limited participant with a hamstring injury on Thursday, things only got worse for Chase Claypool’s fantasy managers on Friday. Claypool was listed as a “did not participate” on the Steelers’ injury report. He entered the weekend as questionable but was downgraded to out during Saturday.

    Diontae Johnson

There was positive news for Diontae Johnson on Friday. Having missed Week 3 with a knee injury, Johnson was upgraded from limited on Wednesday to a full participant on Thursday. He was once again a full participant Friday and looks set to be fully available to the Steelers on Sunday.

    JuJu Smith-Schuster

After not participating in practice Wednesday due to a rib injury, Smith-Schuster’s status has improved throughout the week. He was listed as limited Thursday before being a full participant Friday. He enters the weekend carrying no injury status ahead of the game.

New York Giants WRs on the injury report

The Giants are another team that has issues surrounding its top three wide receivers. Following the final Week 4 injury report, which players could be missing for fantasy manager this week?

    Darius Slayton

The Giants will be without two of their top three receivers in Week 4. After leaving the Week 3 game with a hamstring injury, Slayton did not practice in Week 4 and will not suit up for the game Sunday.

Collin Johnson and Kadarius Toney appear to be the two players that could benefit in terms of playing time from Slayton’s absence.

    Kenny Golladay

As he continues to battle a hip injury, Kenny Golladay was a limited practice participant this week. However, he does not carry a designation into Sunday and could see a heavy target share with both Slayton and Sterling Shepard not set to suit up.

    Sterling Shepard

Shepard also left the Week 3 game with a hamstring injury. He did not practice this week and is out, per the Week 4 injury report.

Other fantasy football relevant players on the Week 4 injury report update

Who are the other fantasy football WR options that are present on the injury report update this week?

    DeAndre Hopkins, Arizona Cardinals

DeAndre Hopkins will carry no designation into the weekend after scaring fantasy managers by not practicing with an injury to his ribs. The top-tier WR managed to log a full practice on both Thursday and Friday.

Russell Gage and Frank Darby, Atlanta Falcons

After not practicing in Week 4 with an ankle injury, Russell Gage has been ruled out of the Falcons’ matchup with Washington.

In contrast, Frank Darby (calf) was a full participant on both Thursday and Friday. He carries no injury status into Week 4.

    Darnell Mooney, Chicago Bears

After being limited with a groin injury during practice for Week 4, Darnell Mooney enters the weekend listed as questionable. Mooney has been on the Bears’ injury report with regularity this season, first with a back injury and then a groin in Week 3. However, he has so far suited up for all three games.

    Odell Beckham Jr., Cleveland Browns

After being listed as a limited participant with a shoulder injury on Wednesday, Beckham has been a full participant in practice on Thursday and Friday. He should have the green light in Week 4 after making his season debut last week.

    Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Green Bay Packers

Packers head coach Matt LaFleur listed Valdes-Scantling as out for Sunday’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Sitting second on the team in targets, MVS will be a big loss. His absence opens up opportunities for Allen Lazard, Randall Cobb, and Malik Taylor.

    Danny Amendola, Houston Texans

After failing to make it onto the practice field in Week 4 with a thigh injury, Danny Amendola will be inactive for the Texans’ Week 4 matchup with the Buffalo Bills.

    DJ Chark Jr., Jacksonville Jaguars

During the Jaguars’ Week 4 Thursday Night Football game, DJ Chark left with an ankle injury. Further evaluation determined the injury to be a fractured ankle. This will likely require surgery and Chark has an indefinite timetable for return.

    Keenan Allen, Los Angeles Chargers

Allen (ankle) was a limited participant in the Chargers practice ahead of their Monday Night Football game for the second straight day. Saturday’s injury report update will be crucial for fantasy managers as they try to make a decision whether to risk starting Allen on Monday.

    Tutu Atwell, Los Angeles Rams

Atwell managed to practice in full Friday despite his illness. After missing Wednesday and Thursday, Atwell will carry a questionable tag into the weekend. However, the Rams will likely have him as a Week 4 option.

    Will Fuller, Miami Dolphins

Throughout the week ahead of the Dolphins’ Week 4 matchup with the Colts, the status of Will Fuller (chest/elbow) has slowly improved. He did not participate on Wednesday and was listed as limited on Thursday. He returned as a full participant on Friday and does not carry a status into the game.

Jamison Crowder and Elijah Moore, New York Jets

It’s a case of good news/bad news on the WR injury report for the Jets. Jamison Crowder was able to be a full participant despite his groin issue. He is listed as questionable but is expected to play on Sunday against the Titans.

In contrast, Elijah Moore was a non-participant once again in practice. The Jets will not rush the rookie receiver back after suffering from a concussion. Crowder could very well fill the role played by Moore in his absence.
