With Week 4 of the NFL season here, let's look at this week's TE tiers and see if we can find streamers to target for our fantasy lineups.

With Week 4 in the NFL upon us, it’s time for fantasy football managers to set their lineups and dive into each position. With fewer and fewer reliable options each year, the streaming TE strategy has become more and more popular. Here are our TE tiers and rankings for Week 4, along with a couple of streamers.

    TE streamers for Week 4

Finding Week 4 TE streamers is almost easier than unearthing QB streamers because the bar is so low. All we’re looking for are TEs that are on the field with a reasonable chance at scoring a touchdown. As always, we do our best to choose tight ends that realistically should be available in most fantasy football leagues.

Tyler Conklin, Minnesota Vikings (vs. CLE)

This certainly feels a bit like point chasing, but I want you to view it more like “usage chasing.”

The Vikings’ passing game essentially revolves around two players — Justin Jefferson and Adam Thielen. For the first two weeks of the season, the third man was K.J. Osborn. In Week 3, something changed. Tyler Conklin out-snapped Osborn 54-44 and out-targeted him 8-2. Conklin finished as the overall TE2 with 20 fantasy points.

Conklin only ran a route on about 42% of his snaps, but we’re hoping that increases given his performance. The Browns have fared well against the tight end position, but outside of Travis Kelce in Week 1, they’ve played two teams with largely irrelevant TEs.

With Minnesota’s defense unable to stop anyone, the team keeps finding itself in shootouts. That gives Conklin as good of a chance as anyone at a few receptions and a touchdown.

Will Dissly, Seattle Seahawks (at SF)

Let’s dig extra deep. Last week, Will Dissly played just 20 snaps and was targeted only once. However, Gerald Everett tested positive for COVID-19 on Wednesday and won’t be able to play on Sunday. That opens the door for Dissly to be Seattle’s primary tight end.

Everett played 42 snaps in Week 3. Of course, not all of those snaps will go to Dissly, but he should assume the vast majority. In 2019, Dissly had a streak where he scored 4 touchdowns in four games and generated at least 12 fantasy points in each contest. With the Seahawks lacking a third receiving option behind DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett, you can take a shot on Dissly recapturing some of that 2019 magic.
