Week 2 of the 2021 NFL preseason kicked into another gear with 10 games Saturday, including four on the national TV schedule. Let’s take a look back at the main event of a weekend of football games that spans five days.
Was there preseason Saturday Football games?
The NFL games Saturday started slow and steady before bursting into life with a loaded TV schedule in the evening. The Chicago Bears once again kicked off our Saturday viewing, this time hosting the Buffalo Bills at 1 PM ET on NFL Network. That was followed by the Green Bay Packers hosting the New York Jets.
At 7 PM ET, we saw the first of a further eight kickoffs. The Atlanta Falcons took on the Miami Dolphins, and the Baltimore Ravens duked it out with the Carolina Panthers in locally televised games. The third of the nationally televised NFL games Saturday began at 7:30 PM ET, with the Detroit Lions challenging the Pittsburgh Steelers.
At the same time, another locally televised game between the Tennessee Titans and Tampa Bay Buccaneers began. This was followed by two 8 PM ET games. Those saw the Houston Texans battle the Dallas Cowboys and the Indianapolis Colts face the Minnesota Vikings.
The day ended at 10 PM ET with another two games. On NFL Network, the Los Angeles Rams hosted the Las Vegas Raiders. Meanwhile, the Seattle Seahawks hosted the Denver Broncos in a locally televised game.
