The NFL preseason TV schedule for 2021 has been announced. A total of 28 total games will be shown live throughout the United States, five of which will be national broadcasts on FOX, CBS, and ESPN. The remaining 23 games will be available on NFL Network except in areas where local markets will be airing games.
The 2021 NFL Preseason TV schedule slides into Week 3
There is plenty of great action across the three weeks of the NFL preseason schedule, including three triple-headers each Saturday. Among them will be many marquee matchups, giving a live look at your favorite rookies and veterans in new places.
The preseason will take on a new shape in 2021
New to the NFL this year is the three weeks of preseason. Before the league extending the regular season to 18 weeks, the preseason lasted four weeks.
Now, the NFL will have a 10-day gap between the final preseason game and the first regular-season game. The first game of Week 1 will take place on Thursday, September 9, between the Cowboys and defending Super Bowl Champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
