NFL Draft Livestream for Day 3
Pro Football Network continues to have your back with the latest NFL news and rumors. As Day 3 of the draft begins, PFN will have all eyes locked in until the very last selection is announced. Not every prospect is Tom Brady, who was famously picked 199th overall in the sixth round and became one of the best players of all time. Nevertheless, there have been quite a few Day 3 game changers selected over the past few years.
In 2016, the Dallas Cowboys selected QB Dak Prescott in Round 4 at 135th overall. Fast forward to this past offseason, and he signs a 4-year, $160 million contract with the franchise. The Green Bay Packers drafted RB Aaron Jones 182nd overall in the 2017 NFL Draft. He’s produced back-to-back 1,000-yard rushing seasons with head coach Matt LaFleur. Jones signed a 4-year, $48 million contract in the 2021 offseason as well.
There is even an example of a player who sits at the top of their position. Before Jones’ selection, the San Francisco 49ers drafted George Kittle with the 146th pick. Another fifth-rounder, Kittle, has developed into one of the best tight ends in the league with a demanding offensive presence.
Some players from more recent drafts are impressive, too. They include Cleveland Browns OG Wyatt Teller (166th in 2018), Washington Football Team DT Tim Settle (163rd in 2018), and Oakland Raiders WR Hunter Renfrow (149th in 2019), to name a few. Be sure to keep an eye on Rounds 4 through 7. Tune in at Noon ET as the annual selection event wraps up.
