Anthony Miller Trade Partners: Landing spots for Bears WR

After three seasons in the NFL, there are reports that the Chicago Bears are shopping WR Anthony Miller. If the Bears manage to trade Anthony Miller, who are some wide receiver needy teams who could be a potential landing spot?

Could the Miami Dolphins be a potential landing spot for Bears’ WR Anthony Miller?

As is always the theme, the Dolphins need to get QB Tua Tagovailoa help at the wide receiver position. One potential option is via trade with the Chicago Bears’ WR Anthony Miller, who is apparently on the trade block.

Miller is one of the better wide receivers at creating separation, and at just 26-years-old, could be entering his prime quickly.

The Baltimore Ravens could trade for wide receiver help with Anthony Miller

Few teams are as needy for pass-catchers as the Baltimore Ravens. Marquise Brown is more of a WR2, and beyond him, they do not have a “proven” asset.

While not a high-volume wide receiver, trading for Bear’s WR Anthony Miller would be an instant upgrade. Furthermore, he could serve as a possession receiver, a similar role he had with the Bears. The 26-year-old is coming off a season where he racked up 485 yards and 2 touchdowns on 49 receptions.

Would an Anthony Miller trade compliment Davante Adams in Green Bay?

We have already seen him fill a similar role with rival Chicago. Miller played a complementary role with Allen Robinson for the last three seasons, and he could do the same for Adams.

Rodgers has been searching for a competent WR2 that he could target for years, and this might be the only chance he gets at the organization helping him out.

Anthony Miller is not a massive deep threat. Therefore, they would not have to shake up the WR room too much as Marquez Valdes-Scantling could stay as a deep threat with Anthony Miller working underneath.

Washington trading for Bears’ WR Anthony Miller would be a great landing spot

There is no question that WR Terry McLaurin is an elite pass catcher in the NFL. However, he needs someone to line up with him in Washington. The organization just signed QB Ryan Fitzpatrick, and if he wins the opening day job, Anthony Miller could drastically help his play.

In his three seasons, Miller has played 47 games with 17 starts. He has made 134 catches for 1,564 yards and 11 touchdowns. His yards per catch did dip to 9.9 last season after Miller averaged 12.7 per reception in his first two seasons combined. But he can also be a touchdown scorer, as showed in his rookie year when he put up seven on just 33 catches.

The Eagles could be a landing spot via trade for Bears’ Anthony Miller

If there is any team who certainly needs wide receiver help it’s the Philadelphia Eagles. They selected WR Jalen Reagor early in the draft last year, but he hasn’t yet lived up to expectations.

Now that QB Jalen Hurts is the starter, they need to give him some targets to succeed. It is likely they will select a top pass catcher in the NFL Draft or TE Kyle Pitts if available. Trading for Bears WR Anthony Miller would make the Eagles one of the best landing spots for a trade as it benefits both sides.

Miller is entering the final year of his contract. If the Eagles are the landing spot, they would need to work on a new contract unless they view him as a single-year rental piece.
