San Francisco is 3-1 over their last four games, while Cincinnati is 2-1 in their last three. Each team is coming off of a loss, though. Below, you’ll find the NFL odds along with a pick and prediction for the 49ers vs. Bengals Week 14 battle.

49ers run offense vs. Bengals run defense
The 49ers run the ball on 48.3% of their offensive plays, third-most in the NFL. That number has jumped to 56.1% over their last three games. Furthermore, it sits at 52.2% on the road in 2021.
San Francisco only ranks 13th in the NFL in rushing yards percentage, although they rank in the top 10 of the league in rushing touchdown percentage. Overall, the 49ers are averaging 125.9 rushing yards per game and 4.3 yards per carry.
[bet-promo id=”174860″ ]The Bengals have performed well against the run this season. They’re giving up 4.1 yards per carry in 2021 while allowing only 3.7 yards per carry over the last three games. Cincinnati is allowing only 92.5 rushing yards per game this season, and that number has dipped to only 67.3 over their last three games.
Overall, the Bengals are allowing a 26.5% rushing yard percentage to go along with a 33.3% rushing touchdown percentage this season.
49ers vs. Bengals betting trends
The 49ers have struggled against the spread (ATS) this year, covering in only 41.7% of their contests.
The Bengals have covered the spread in 50% of theirs thus far. Cincinnati has struggled more at home, though, where they’ve posted a 2-4 ATS record.
In terms of the game total, the Bengals have been neutral as well, posting a 6-6 over/under record. However, they have found the over in 66.7% of their home games.
The 49ers lean toward the over, posting a 7-5 over/under record through 12 games. Yet, they’ve only hit the over in 50% of their road games.
49ers vs. Bengals prediction
The key to this game will be Cincinnati’s ability to slow down the 49ers’ running backs. They’ve found success in that area in recent games, and I expect them to force Jimmy Garoppolo to beat them.
If this game turns into a shootout, the Bengals should have a significant edge, especially as Deebo Samuel continues to deal with an injury. Elijah Mitchell is also dealing with a concussion.
Both of these teams have been playing at a faster pace in recent weeks, and I’m expecting this game to be a bit more of a shootout than people are anticipating. I prefer the over rather than the spread, although I’m backing the home team in this matchup.
49ers vs. Bengals Prediction: Bengals 27, 49ers 24
