Ashton Jeanty is on everyone’s mind. The Boise State running back keeps putting up historic college football numbers and is bound to be a top pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Meanwhile, Jeanty recently revealed his favorite landing spots, and unsurprisingly, the Kansas City Chiefs are on top of the RB’s mind.
Patrick Mahomes Could Draw Ashton Jeanty to the Chiefs
The 20-year-old Boise State man was streaming on Twitch and revealed his thoughts on the teams he could play for next season. Jeanty dismissed the Chicago Bears based on the climate, suggesting Chicago is “too cold” for him.
The Florida-born RB did not dismiss the Patrick Mahomes-led Chiefs, however, since the team is on a historic run. Kansas City has already claimed two back-to-back Super Bowls and is on the path of becoming the first-ever NFL team to achieve a three-peat.

With a 6-0 start to the season, Mahomes and Co. are in pole position to etch their names in the history books. Jeanty said being with the Chiefs would make him a “Super Bowl contender every year.”
Mahomes has played with several running backs this season alone, with Kareem Hunt getting the most snaps. To no surprise, many believe Jeanty would be an upgrade in that department.
Jeanty Has One Other Team on His Mind
Jeanty is considered a generational talent. In six games, he has 1,248 yards for 17 touchdowns and is on the path to winning the Heisman Trophy.
Due to his childhood connection, Jeanty also wouldn’t mind exploring his talents away with the Dallas Cowboys.
“I’m not saying they’re not a good fit; I’m not saying that at all,” Jeanty said on the prospect of joining the Cowboys next year.
“I’m from Frisco, played in their practice stadium. I would be a hometown hero.”
Despite being born in Jacksonville, the RB spent his childhood in Frisco, Texas, playing and honing his talent at Lone Star High School.
