2024 Senior Bowl Risers From Weigh-Ins and Measurements: Austin McNamara, Johnny Wilson Among Winners From Weigh-Ins

    Published on

Official measurements have been released at the 2024 Senior Bowl. Which prospects will see their stocks rise after compiling the numbers?

The 2024 Reese’s Senior Bowl is underway, and we officially have measurements for every prospect in attendance. After looking at these measurements, who are some of the biggest risers in the 2024 NFL Draft?

Top Risers from Senior Bowl Weigh-Ins

    Johnny Wilson, WR/TE, Florida State

We knew coming in that the Florida State product would measure in ridiculously, and Johnny Wilson still blew the measurements out of the water.

He came in at a whopping 6’6″ and 237 pounds on weigh-ins. However, it was his length measurements that sent him over the top.

Wilson’s 35 2/8″ arm length puts him third all-time for wide receivers, and his 84 3/8″ wingspan puts him second all-time for wide receivers.

    Myles Cole, DL, Texas Tech

Officially the longest prospect at the Senior Bowl this year, Myles Cole matched the film with his measurements. Cole is a bit raw as a prospect, but he’s just as jaw-dropping of an athlete as his former teammate Tyree Wilson.

Cole weighed in at 6’5″ and 272 pounds, with go-go-gadget arms at 36 3/8″ arm length (99th percentile) and a whopping 87″ wingspan, which might be the 100th percentile.

    Patrick Paul, OT, Houston

Patrick Paul has always looked the part on film, but it was nice to get official confirmation with his absurd weigh-in numbers at the Senior Bowl.

Paul came in at a gargantuan 6’7″ and 333 pounds, which is phenomenal when paired with his movement skills. His measurements confirmed that he does have vines for arms with a 36 2/8″ arm length (96th percentile) and an 86 6/8″ wingspan (third all-time for OTs). Both of those numbers clear every offensive lineman in Mobile.

    Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint, WR, Georgia

Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint was one of the most underrated prospects coming into the week, but he helped himself in the weigh-ins. Rosemy-Jacksaint weighed in at 6’1″ and 205 pounds, one of this week’s bigger frames in Mobile.

He also cleared every non-Johnny Wilson WR with his 33 1/8″ arm length and one of the longest wingspans of the group at 78 2/8″. Rosemy-Jacksaint needed a big week to see him get drafted, and he’s off to a good start.

    Michael Penix Jr., QB, Washington

Hand size is a weird science that often brings more scorn than anything, but NFL scouts use it — and they might be onto something.

They’ll love Michael Penix Jr., who measured in with a 10 3/”8 hand size — one of the largest on record. Tack on a 6’2″, 212-pound frame and it’s a good start for Penix physically.

    Darius Robinson, EDGE, Missouri

Darius Robinson enjoyed a breakout season in 2023 with the Missouri Tigers and has seen his draft stock skyrocket as time goes on. He only helped that stock with his incredible weigh-in, coming in at 6’5″ and 272 pounds, with a 34 6/8″ arm length and a ridiculous 84 4/8″ wingspan that puts him third all-time for defensive ends.

    Tyrice Knight, LB, UTEP

There was some concern that Tyrice Knight would measure in small, as he was visibly shorter than his listed 6’2″. Yet, he came in over 6’0″ and boasted a 235-pound build.

Not only that, but Knight measured in with a respectable 32 4/8″ arm length and 80 3/8″ wingspan, which cleared linebackers listed bigger than him. It was a big win for the UTEP prospect.

Cam Hart, CB, Notre Dame | Khyree Jackson, CB, Oregon

Cam Hart and Khyree Jackson were the only cornerbacks at the Senior Bowl to weigh in over 200 pounds. Both also came in over 6’2″ — two frames that jump out compared to the rest of the competition.

The pair completely blew away the rest of the CB room with arm length and wingspan, making them outliers compared to the rest. How these two fare in drills during the Senior Bowl will be interesting to see, given their massive difference in physical frames from the rest of their position group.

    Austin McNamara, P, Texas Tech

Have you ever heard of a punter winning the weigh-ins? You have now because Austin McNamara set records.

At 6’4″, McNamara’s one of the tallest punters on record. Not only that, but his 10 4/8″ hand size was the largest on record, per MockDraftable. McNamara also posted the longest arm length on record and the longest wingspan of any special teamer.

For reference, he had bigger hands and longer arms than any wide receiver or tight end at the Senior Bowl. So yeah, a punter won the weigh-ins.
