For the second straight year, the Manning brothers will be holding down the head coaching spots for the 2024 Pro Bowl. Peyton and Eli Manning — who both spent time individually in only one specific conference for their entire careers — will be running the show for their respective teams.
Peyton will be the head coach for the AFC squad, while Eli will do so for the NFC. Helping them call the game and patrol the sideline is an impressive list of former NFL players. Let’s take a look at who else will be joining them for the action.
2024 Pro Bowl Coaches for AFC and NFC Teams
It’s the Pro Bowl, so the best of the best will be out and about all week long. When it comes to the coaching staff accompanying these players, that rings true, too.
NFC Pro Bowl Coaches
- Head Coach: Eli Manning
- Offensive Coordinator: Keenan McCardell
- Defensive Coordinator: DeMarcus Ware
The NFC’s coaching staff is stacked. Eli headlines the group, as the former New York Giants quarterback brings his leadership skills and two Super Bowl titles to the NFC team. This will be Eli’s second time running the show for the NFC team.
The offensive coordinator who will be helping Eli call plays is Keenan McCardell, the star wide receiver who had a sensational 15-year NFL career and was selected to two Pro Bowls. He also won a Super Bowl.
Rounding out the group is former Dallas Cowboys and Denver Broncos great, DeMarcus Ware. Ware was selected to the Pro Bowl nine times during his career and is also a Super Bowl champion from his time with the Broncos.
AFC Pro Bowl Coaches
- Head Coach: Peyton Manning
- Offensive Coordinator: Wes Welker
- Defensive Coordinator: Ray Lewis
As much star power as the NFC coaching staff has, the AFC might have them beat top to bottom. Peyton leads the group, who — like his brother — will be the head coach of the squad for the second time.
Manning’s pedigree speaks for itself; he’s one of the best QBs to ever play the game.
By Peyton’s side, long-time wide receiver Wes Welker will be running the offense. Welker enjoyed a successful 13-year NFL career that saw him become a five-time Pro Bowler, a two-time All-Pro, and one of the best slot wide receivers the sport has seen.

On the defensive side of the ball is a man who needs no introduction. Calling the defensive signals for the AFC will be none other than Ray Lewis. One of the most feared linebackers to ever grace an NFL uniform will have his group ready to go. The Pro Football Hall of Famer is also a 12-time Pro Bowler, seven-time All-Pro, and a two-time Super Bowl champion.
