With the 2023-2024 National Championship bringing an end to the college football campaign, attention turns to where the stars of Saturdays may be playing on Sunday.
This latest 2024 NFL Mock Draft provides some potential scenarios for the upcoming 2024 NFL Draft.
2024 NFL Mock Draft
1) Chicago Bears: Drake Maye, QB, North Carolina
Whether you’re in or out on Justin Fields, it feels like the quarterback situation for the Chicago Bears will dominate the offseason conversation. There’s a legitimate possibility that they will move on. In this 2024 NFL Mock Draft, they replace him with North Carolina’s Drake Maye, who boasts the arm talent and wherewithal to operate as a top-tier NFL passer.
2) Washington Commanders: Joe Alt, OT, Notre Dame
With Ron Rivera fired on Monday, the likelihood that the Washington Commanders begin a new era with a fresh start at the QB position seems enhanced. However, if Sam Howell did enough to earn a second season as the starter, then grabbing a top-tier talent at left tackle could be the move to make. Joe Alt gives Washington a physical freak with impressive football intelligence.
3) New England Patriots: Caleb Williams, QB, USC
Mac Jones isn’t it. Bailey Zappe isn’t it.
The New England Patriots need to find it at the QB position if they’re to return to the summit of the sport. There’s no denying that Caleb Williams has the “it factor” with his ludicrous arm talent and the off-script creativity and athleticism that would have been unthinkable to witness during the long-tenured Bill Belichick era in Foxboro.
4) Arizona Cardinals: Marvin Harrison Jr., WR, Ohio State
If you give Kyler Murray an elite pass-catching weapon, you’re going to get the very best version of the diminutive Arizona Cardinals quarterback. They don’t come much more elite in the 2024 NFL Draft class than Ohio State Buckeyes standout Marvin Harrison Jr.
Witness the Buckeyes with and without MHJ to fully understand his ability to completely change an offense.
5) Los Angeles Chargers: Brock Bowers, TE, Georgia
In the early stages of writing this 2024 NFL Mock Draft, I took to social media to ask fans what they thought their teams will need in April.

The response for the Los Angeles Chargers? Everything. Georgia tight end Brock Bowers can be absolutely everything for this offense, acting as the ultimate cheat code for Justin Herbert.
6) New York Giants: JC Latham, OT, Alabama
The New York Giants shouldn’t be completely ruled out of the quarterback sweepstakes in April. However, with Daniel Jones still on the contractual hook through 2024, the franchise gives him one last chance to prove himself by providing stability on the right side of the offensive line.
JC Latham boasts fast feet and an impressive frame and is a mauler in the ground game.
7) Tennessee Titans: Olumuyiwa Fashanu, OT, Penn State
With Will Levis set to be the future at the quarterback position for the Tennessee Titans, this 2024 NFL Mock Draft looks to ensure his optimal chances of success. Landing a left tackle of the caliber of Olu Fashanu would be a great start to this class for the Titans.
The Penn State product is as good technically as he is physically, making him a well-rounded, ready-to-go selection.
8) Atlanta Falcons: Jayden Daniels, QB, LSU
After a stint that frustrated Atlanta Falcons fans due to his inability to maximize their offensive weapons, Arthur Smith is gone. A new head coach will likely move to find a starting QB, with the Desmond Ridder experiment not delivering results.
Heisman Trophy winner Jayden Daniels has underrated arm talent in this class, not to mention dazzling dual-threat capabilities.
9) Chicago Bears: Jared Verse, EDGE, Florida State
The Bears are locked in on a game-changing QB with the first pick of this 2024 NFL mock draft, and with their second top-10 selection, they land a devastating edge presence to bolster that side of the ball. FSU’s Jared Verse brings power and athletic prowess as a pass rusher while having all the tools of the trade at his disposal in an advanced pass rush toolbox.
10) New York Jets: Taliese Fuaga, OT, Oregon State
It’s tempting to give the New York Jets some form of offensive weapon in this 2024 NFL mock draft, but let’s be honest, shoring up an offensive line that left multiple quarterbacks reevaluating their life choices is surely the bigger priority. A 6’6″, 325-pound behemoth with exceptional movement skills, Taliese Fuaga is a stout pass protector who can dominate in the ground game.
11) Minnesota Vikings: Michael Penix Jr., QB, Washington
There are a lot of potential directions for the Minnesota Vikings’ quarterback situation in the future, and this 2024 NFL mock draft examines the potential of using their first-round pick at the position. Landing Michael Penix Jr. would give the Vikings one of the best deep-ball quarterbacks in the nation, one that’s shown he can put up truly ridiculous numbers with elite wide receivers.
12) Denver Broncos: Jer’Zhan Newton, DT, Illinois
While there are some very real questions being asked about the Denver Broncos offense, the very best Denver teams have been defensively dominant at their foundation. Adding a force like Jer’Zhan Newton into their defensive front helps get the Broncos back to that philosophy.
He’s a 6’2″, 295-pound DT with versatility and athleticism to impact offenses from any alignment.
13) Las Vegas Raiders: Terrion Arnold, CB, Alabama
The Las Vegas Raiders have had some recent flops selecting cornerbacks early, but taking Terrion Arnold in this 2024 NFL mock draft wouldn’t be a similar mistake. A long, explosive, intelligent cornerback who has in many respects overshadowed and outplayed his more well-known teammate at Alabama this season, Arnold can be an instant impact maker in Las Vegas.
14) New Orleans Saints: Amarius Mims, OT, Georgia
The offensive line has been a strong suit for the New Orleans Saints in recent seasons, and this 2024 NFL mock draft aims to continue that trend as they look to get the best out of their investment in Derek Carr. Amarius Mims gives the Saints a towering figure at right tackle — 6’7″ and 330 pounds — whose size is buoyed by a dangerous and powerful punch.
15) Indianapolis Colts: Dallas Turner, EDGE, Alabama
Is it really NFL Draft season if the Indianapolis Colts aren’t linked to every pass rusher in the class? The edge position still figures to be a need for the team this season, and in this 2024 NFL mock draft, they land an explosive option in Alabama’s Dallas Turner.
In addition to his alluring athletic profile, Turner is a versatile chess piece with an exciting pass-rush toolbox.
16) Seattle Seahawks: Kool-Aid McKinstry, CB, Alabama
There are lots of potential permutations for the Seattle Seahawks in the 2024 NFL Draft, but there’s a good chance that for the second successive season, they look to address the secondary in the first round.

Kool-Aid McKinstry can command the outside cornerback position in Seattle, utilizing his exceptional technical ability and top-tier football intelligence to be a shutdown CB1. McKinstry has built-in elite special-teams ability to boot.
17) Jacksonville Jaguars: T’Vondre Sweat, DT, Texas
The second-half collapse sees the Jacksonville Jaguars locked into the 17th spot in the 2024 NFL Draft. Addressing the trenches is a must in April, and while the offensive line shouldn’t be ignored, landing a defensive dominator in the form of Texas Longhorn T’Vondre Sweat would elevate that side of the ball.
Watch for Sweat’s stock to soar at the Senior Bowl.
18) Cincinnati Bengals: Malik Nabers, WR, LSU
Peanut butter and jam. Jelly and ice cream. Starsky and Hutch. The Cincinnati Bengals and former LSU wide receivers.
Yes, we’re just naming iconic partnerships. In this 2024 NFL mock draft, the Bengals return to a previously tapped well to get another exciting weapon for quarterback Joe Burrow. Malik Nabers is just too explosive, competitive, and clean of a catcher not to take here.
19) Green Bay Packers: Graham Barton, OG, Duke
It would be a surprise to see the Green Bay Packers not address the offensive line in the early part of the 2024 NFL Draft, with multiple spots classified as positions of need.
Duke’s Graham Barton has been one of the most consistent offensive linemen in college football, with his impressive strength and lower body power frequently driving opponents out of the club. He’s played left tackle for the Blue Devils, but he has projections at both guard and even at the pivot, making him a versatile option for the Packers.
20) Tampa Bay Buccaneers: J.J. McCarthy, QB, Michigan
Baker Mayfield has done a much better job for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers than many people imagined but doesn’t present a long-term option for the franchise. Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh recently called J.J. McCarthy the greatest quarterback in Michigan history, making his landing spot in this 2024 NFL mock draft somewhat poetic, given Tom Brady’s recent influence.
21) Arizona Cardinals: Chop Robinson, EDGE, Penn State
The first Cardinals pick of this 2024 NFL mock draft sought to give Arizona an offensive advantage, and the second seeks to ensure that unit can win games by getting them on the field. Chop Robinson is the latest Penn State product to provide an explosive force off the edge, with his much-publicized speed ensuring he frequently beats the OT to the spot.
22) Los Angeles Rams: Laiatu Latu, EDGE, UCLA
The Los Angeles Rams haven’t made a first-round pick since 2016, and it wouldn’t be a surprise to see them trade this one away before they actually get on the clock in April.
However, in this 2024 NFL mock draft, they strike for an impact-making edge prospect in UCLA’s Laiatu Latu. A productive campaign showcasing technical and physical development sees him land in the first round.
23) Pittsburgh Steelers: Nate Wiggins, CB, Clemson
Despite making the playoffs, the Pittsburgh Steelers have a roster with more holes than Swiss cheese, making their 2024 NFL Draft moves considerably complicated to predict. Finding a top-tier cornerback to pair with Joey Porter Jr. may be a priority, and Clemson’s Nate Wiggins is one of the very best. He’s aggressive at the catch point and has game-changing speed in all phases.
24) Miami Dolphins: Troy Fautanu, OG, Washington
Troy Fautanu has been the cornerstone of one of the best offensive lines in college football this fall. His awe-inspiring power has helped clear out running lanes, while he’s been stout as a protector despite concerns over his arm length. Washington allowed just 0.79 sacks per game this year, something that Miami Dolphins fans have only been able to dream of for years.
25) Philadelphia Eagles: Rome Odunze, WR, Washington
With reports over A.J. Brown’s locker-room influence and Julio Jones on the wrong side of the prime of his career, the Philadelphia Eagles could seek to add another first-round pass catcher to their team this spring. Washington’s Rome Odunze has exceptional route-running skills while holding his own at the catch point, partly due to his 6’3″, 200+ pound frame.
26) Kansas City Chiefs: Keon Coleman, WR, Florida State
The Kansas City Chiefs invested capital — draft and otherwise — at the wide receiver position last fall, but adding more weapons for Patrick Mahomes is never a bad idea.
MORE: 2024 NFL Draft Scouting Reports
That becomes an even better option if a pass catcher of Keon Coleman‘s capability slips into their grasp. Sticky hands, sensational body control, and the speed to be a return game threat are key parts of his game.
27) Houston Texans: Adonai Mitchell, WR, Texas
Rookie quarterback C.J. Stroud has done a remarkable job guiding the Houston Texans to the playoffs in his first year in the NFL. Imagine the level of damage he could do with a pass catcher of the caliber of Texas wide receiver Adonai Mitchell at his disposal.
The former Georgia product breaks ankles and steals souls with his route-running and red-zone prowess.
28) Detroit Lions: Kalen King, CB, Penn State
The Detroit Lions were considered a contender to land one of the top cornerbacks in 2023 but didn’t strike at the position. With several pieces of the secondary already in flux, there’s a good chance they add a first-round CB this time. They don’t come much better than Kalen King, who is as ferocious as they come while boasting technical and athletic advantages in this class.
29) Buffalo Bills: Kamren Kinchens, S, Miami (FL)
Jordan Poyer and Micah Hyde have been two of the more reliable safeties in recent NFL history, but change could be coming in the position. There aren’t many more alluring replacement candidates in the 2024 NFL Draft class than Miami’s Kamren Kinchens, who is a combination of an elite game processor and physical attributes such as speed and tackling form, not to mention ferocity.
30) Dallas Cowboys: Cooper DeJean, CB, Iowa
The Dallas Cowboys have gotten incredible production out of cornerbacks DaRon Bland and Trevon Diggs, but they could still seek to add some playmaking talent on the back end. Iowa’s Cooper DeJean is a safety-sized cornerback with eye-popping physicality in all game phases. With top-tier ball skills, he can be the next player to put up gaudy numbers in Dallas.
31) San Francisco 49ers: Bralen Trice, EDGE, Washington
While the offensive line might be an area that gets addressed early for the San Francisco 49ers, this 2024 NFL mock draft focuses on the other side of the trenches. There are multiple out-of-contract pass rushers, leaving a potential vacancy across from Nick Bosa. Bralen Trice stays on the West Coast, where he’s forged a reputation as a dangerous, game-wrecking, elite pass rusher.
32) Baltimore Ravens: Quinyon Mitchell, CB, Toledo
As many as five Baltimore Ravens cornerbacks are set to hit the open market at the end of this potential Super Bowl-winning season. Arguably, Marlon Humphrey is past his prime, too.
An injection of talent into the secondary closes out this 2024 NFL mock draft, as Quinyon Mitchell brings his productive playmaking ability and speed from Toledo to the Ravens.
