2024 NFL Draft Class Dynasty Fantasy Football Risers Include Adonai Mitchell, Jayden Daniels, and Xavier Legette

It's time to start thinking about our dynasty fantasy football rookie drafts already! Who are some of the names you need to know in the 2024 NFL Draft?

It’s November, which means it’s officially acceptable to stop daydreaming about turning around your middling roster this season and instead focus on winning your rookie drafts. College football Week 10 featured impressive performances from future-round fantasy football impact players. Understanding the value of these five prospects will help you stay ahead of your league-mates.

    2024 NFL Draft Dynasty Risers

    Xavier Legette, WR, South Carolina

Wide receiver Xavier Legette (6-3, 227) has played his way into top 50 NFL Draft consideration. He put together his fifth game with 100+ receiving yards this season against Jacksonville State.

Legette hauled in nine receptions for 217 yards and two touchdowns, which is impressive against any level of competition. He has also put together big performances against North Carolina, Mississippi State, Furman, and Florida.

Legette is an enticing combination of size and speed. He moves really well for his frame and profiles as a boundary threat at the next level. He separates off the line of scrimmage and works well with the ball in his hands after the catch. He’s averaging 19.5 yards/reception on his 50 catches this season.

Legette is the type of prospect you want to put on your radar early. His draft hype is being tempered by a strong class, but I expect him to capture Day 2 draft capital which will shoot him up fantasy football rankings.

    Jayden Daniels, QB, LSU

Jayden Daniels (6-4, 210) put together an impressive performance against Alabama before exiting the game early in the fourth quarter with a concussion. Daniels threw for 219 yards and two touchdowns, but it was his athleticism that was on full display. He ran for 163 yards and a touchdown on just 11 carries.

Daniels is making a strong case to be the first senior selected in the 2024 NFL Draft. He has improved tremendously as a pocket passer this season, displaying improved decision-making, pocket presence, and anticipation. NFL teams will value his ability to improvise with his legs on broken plays.

Daniels has now thrown for 2,792 yards and rushed for an additional 684. He has 33 combined touchdowns and has turned the ball over just four times.

Daniels’ dual-threat skill set is exactly what fantasy managers are looking for. If he’s selected in the late first round or early second of the 2024 NFL Draft, he’ll be an early selection in rookie drafts.

    Adonai Mitchell, WR, Texas

Texas wideout Adonai Mitchell (6-4, 196) is the definition of explosive. He has 37 receptions this season, eight of which have been touchdowns.

Mitchell has 11 receptions over the last two weeks, three of which have been touchdowns. His 149-yard receiving performance against a tough Kansas State defense was his best performance of the season, and people are starting to take notice.

Mitchell has great ball tracking, body control, and straight-line acceleration — a recipe for success along the boundary in the NFL. He’s light on his feet and works through his routes well for his size. Defenses have to account for Mitchell’s big-play potential on every snap, something NFL coaches value.

Mitchell transferred to Texas after being underutilized by Georgia for the past two seasons. That move has skyrocketed his draft stock.

If the draft happened today, Mitchell could be a first-round selection. There’s a lot to shake out in this strong wide receiver class, but it’s clear that Mitchell has a skill set that NFL front offices and fantasy football managers will appreciate.

    Bo Nix, QB, Oregon

Oregon quarterback Bo Nix (6-2, 217) put up another pro-ready performance in the Ducks’ 63-19 defeat of Cal. He completed 76% of his 38 passing attempts for 386 yards and four touchdowns. It wasn’t in the national spotlight, but this performance will help his Heisman campaign.

Nix has now completed 78% of his passing attempts on the season for 2,723 yards. He has thrown 25 touchdowns and just two interceptions. He’s also scored five times on the ground.

Nix has two major games remaining: Week 11 against USC and Week 13 against rival Oregon State. We could see his draft stock take a big step forward with good performances in those two games.

I currently project Nix to be a top-50 NFL Draft selection. He distributes the ball with great accuracy, displays excellent decision-making, and has a polished mechanical foundation. He will be a polarizing prospect in terms of ADP, but he’ll be off the board by the middle of Round 2 in 2024 fantasy football rookie drafts.

    Cody Schrader, RB, Missouri

Cody Schrader made an instant impact on the Missouri football team after transferring from Division II Truman State last season. He first caught my eye last season when he ran for 89 yards on just six carries in a near upset of Georgia. He cemented my interest in his draft profile after rushing for 112 yards and a touchdown against Georgia this past week.

Schrader is a physical and scrappy runner who has proven he can compete between the tackles with the best of the SEC. He has rushed for 919 yards and 10 touchdowns on 162 carries so far this season. The tempo of Missouri’s offense is set by Schrader; he’s a major factor in their surprise 7-2 record.

I don’t expect Schrader to capture significant draft capital. He isn’t likely to test well in Indianapolis but could benefit from a Senior Bowl invitation. Schrader fits the profile, though, of a Day 3 running back who produces when he’s given volume in the NFL. Your league-mates might not be talking about the Missouri RB, but he should be on your radar.
