The strength of the 2024 NFL Draft class is the wide receiver position. Dynasty fantasy football managers will be drafting playmakers early and often throughout their rookie drafts.
Week 7 was filled with marquee performances that raised the value of incoming rookie picks. Understanding the value of these weapons will help you stay ahead of your league mates when it’s time to make the necessary upgrades to your dynasty team.

2024 NFL Draft Dynasty WR Risers
Troy Franklin, Oregon
Troy Franklin (6’3″, 187) continues to be the best wide receiver that nobody is talking about. He caught eight targets for 154 yards and a touchdown against Washington and has the fifth-most touchdowns (eight) and the seventh-most receiving yards (689) in the country through his first six games.
Franklin showed his ability to separate and flash sticky handwork when Bo Nix hyper-targeted him in the second half of their shootout against the Huskies. The Ducks wide receiver can win along the boundary and over the middle of the field.
I project Franklin to be a first-round selection in the 2024 NFL Draft, making him a name you need to know before your league-mates.
Keon Coleman, Florida State
I wrote last week that I wanted Keon Coleman (6’4″, 215) to stand out in the Florida State offense. He responded appropriately.
The FSU wideout hauled in nine receptions for 140 yards and a touchdown. Coleman now has a total of seven touchdowns and 418 receiving yards on just 29 receptions for the Seminoles.

Coleman’s freakish athleticism went viral this weekend. He displayed his tremendous catch radius and vertical ability while bringing in a pass thrown well off target. Coleman’s traits have him on track to be a top-50 NFL Draft selection and a first-round rookie pick.
Tory Horton, Colorado State
Winning the third round of your rookie drafts can be just as impactful as a solid early-round selection. And Tory Horton (6’2″, 190) has the makings of a prime sleeper candidate.
Horton’s production, pass-catching ability, and boundary presence have him on the NFL Draft radar. I expect him to be invited to the Senior Bowl and NFL Scouting Combine, which means he’s a prospect that will be discussed throughout the pre-draft process.

Horton caught 10 receptions for 130 yards against Boise State in Week 7. That is his fifth game of the season with at least nine receptions. It also makes his fourth game of the season with at least 99 receiving yards.
Ja’Lynn Polk, Washington
Ja’Lynn Polk (6-2, 204) put together another strong performance this week. The Huskies wideout caught six passes for 118 yards and a touchdown. That marks Polk’s fourth game of the season with at least 100 receiving yards.
Polk wins at the catch point with great ball tracking and vertical ability. He also displays twitchy athleticism that helps him separate before the catch and gain yards after it. Rome Odunze is, justifiably, stealing the spotlight in the Huskies offense. Polk, though, deserves to be highlighted as a potential Day 2 2024 NFL Draft selection.
Dominic Lovett, Georgia
Dominic Lovett (5’10”, 179) was highly touted through spring and fall camp after transferring to Athens from Missouri. The slot wideout totaled 56 receptions and 846 yards in 2022; an impressive stat line relative to the Tigers’ 2022 offense. Lovett, though, hadn’t been a featured part of the Bulldogs’ evolving passing attack prior to this game.
Lovett brought in nine receptions for 72 yards and his first touchdown of the season for Georgia, who notably lost Brock Bowers during the game against Vanderbilt. Bowers will miss at least a month, which presents Lovett with the opportunity to command volume as a featured part of his offense.
I currently project Lovett as a Day 3 selection, but he could gain a lot of momentum over the next four weeks.
