Every point matters. Fantasy kicker rankings are overlooked by many, but these points count the same as any other position on your fantasy football roster and deserve some attention.
That’s not to say that this is the most predictive position, but there are some edges to consider on a week-to-week basis.

The Top Kickers To Start in Week 2
Jason Myers, Seattle Seahawks
The Lions are going to be a common target when we put together our PFN consensus rankings, and for good reason. After all, they are a defense that comes with question marks, plays indoors, and forces opponents to be aggressive due to a potent offense.

The fact that Myers connected on all six of his 50+ yard attempts last season only helps his projection. In one of the higher projected totals for the week, Myers is a lineup lock.
Brandon McManus, Jacksonville Jaguars
This game is going to be fun, and the Patrick Mahomes effect cannot be overlooked. The reigning MVP puts pressure on the opposition to put points on the board, and while “settling for three” isn’t ideal, it does have value.
The Jags looked like an offensive juggernaut in their Week 1 win — something I think we can bank on for the rest of the season. Skeptics will tell you to avoid touchdown-heavy offenses, and I get the train of thought. That said, I want the floor that comes with a kicker who is attached to an offense that I trust to move the chains, and the Lawrence-led Jags are certainly that!
