Top Kickers To Start in Week 16

    Jason Myers, Seattle Seahawks

Last week against the Philadelphia Eagles was the exact type of game in which you shouldn’t start a guy like Jason Myers. He was kicking in bad weather as an underdog playing with a backup quarterback.

This week, circumstances are much better. The Seattle Seahawks are getting Geno Smith back, which will be great for their overall scoring opportunities. While they are on the road, there are no weather concerns in Tennessee, and the Seahawks are favored against a Titans team that should be without Will Levis.

Myers has attempted at least one field goal in every game this season. Over his last six, the only two games in which he failed to attempt multiple field goals were against the San Francisco 49ers and Dallas Cowboys.

This is a great spot for Myers to hit double-digit fantasy points.

    Wil Lutz, Denver Broncos

From an efficiency standpoint, Wil Lutz has been tremendous this season. He’s hit 93% of his field goals and 92.6% of his extra points. The problem for fantasy has been the lack of volume.

Lutz hasn’t attempted multiple field goals in a game since Week 12, but there’s reason for optimism this week.

The New England Patriots have an inept offense that should give the Denver Broncos additional scoring opportunities. However, the Patriots’ defense is not terrible. Combine that with Sean Payton’s tepidness on fourth downs, and we could see several drive-and-stall specials from Russell Wilson and Co. this week, resulting in Lutz posting his best fantasy outing in over a month.
