The Best WRs To Start in Week 1

    Calvin Ridley, Jacksonville Jaguars

The preseason hype for Calvin Ridley was real, and I’m as excited as anyone about him returning to the field. You drafted him as a starter, and you should be rolling him out there as such, but he’ll be one of the players I’m most interested in watching this week.

In fact, this WR room as a whole has my attention. Who plays in two-WR sets? Is the slot role 100% Christian Kirk’s? Does Trevor Lawrence show a willingness to play to Ridley’s strengths?

Keenan Allen, WR, Los Angeles Chargers

You’re going to pencil in Keenan Allen pretty much any time he’s healthy, especially in a game that could be a shootout like this one. Miami was also the 10th-worst red-zone defense a season ago, so that doesn’t hurt when we’re talking about the seventh-pass-heaviest red-zone offense.
