Our CFB Week 11 outlook analyzes the latest underrated 2024 NFL Draft prospects to watch, including Patrick Paul and Javon Bullard.

New 2024 NFL Draft prospects pop up weekly, while some fly under the radar. Each week, I’ll highlight a few prospects that need more attention. As we continue through the conference schedule, we’ll see iron sharpening iron more often.

We take a look at a rising pass rusher in the Big Ten, one of the best pass protectors in the country, and a star safety on Georgia.

Top Underrated 2024 NFL Draft Prospects To Watch in CFB Week 11

    Jah Joyner, EDGE, Minnesota

A prospect with rare traits, Jah Joyner has put it all together this season. He has 4.5 sacks and has been on a tear the last few weeks. His immense arm length and explosiveness through his hips have allowed Joyner to bull rush offensive tackles with ease.

Joyner has had stretches in games where he pushes tackles into the quarterback’s lap on almost every rep. His power profile is going to translate at the next level. Joyner can also counter as a rusher and uses his hands well. Over the last two seasons, it feels like Joyner has gotten better each week. His power has significantly improved, and he has the frame to add strength.

If a defensive end was made in a lab, he’d look like Joyner. Production, measurables, and upside will make Joyner a coveted prospect. Only a redshirt junior, it isn’t a guarantee that Joyner declares, but when he does, he’ll be viewed as one of the best pass rushers in the draft.

    Patrick Paul, OT, Houston

In a talented senior offensive tackle class, Patrick Paul stands out with unbelievable size and athleticism. He has been near perfect this season in pass protection, displaying high-end foot quickness and agility.

Defenders haven’t been able to win with speed against Paul, as his length and size make it difficult for defenders to get around him. Paul’s core strength and anchoring ability show up against rushers who try to win with power against him. He continually stonewalls defenders and uses his grip strength to finish the rep.

Paul moves well in the run game and has natural pop in his hands to displace defenders. With his experience, Paul is excellent at picking up stunts and twists and adjusting to counters. Several teams will be in the market for a new left tackle, and Paul projects as a Day 1 starter.

Paul is a first-round prospect and has the talent to be one of the best pass protectors in the NFL early on in his career.

    Javon Bullard, DB, Georgia

An elite slot defender last year, Javon Bullard has made a seamless transition to safety this season. His football IQ will allow him to be a defensive chess piece at the next level. In coverage, Bullard’s route recognition and quickness are very impressive. He comes downhill fast and is a willing tackler.

In coverage, Bullard is always in the right position and is very good in both man and zone coverage. He is patient in zone coverage and has the foot speed to gain a lot of ground. Bullard possesses natural ball skills and should be able to create turnovers at the next level.

Whoever drafts Bullard will have to decide where to play him, as he has been fantastic at safety this season but can also play in the slot. Either way, Bullard will be one of the first defensive backs drafted next April.
