2022 NFL Mock Draft | Round 2, Picks 33-43
So much value can be had on Day 2. High-upside players trickling through the cracks of the first round is an annual rite of passage for the draft process.
The draft order is based on Pro Football Network’s free Mock Draft Simulator with trades, which is current as of the conclusion of NFL’s Week 12 action. Check back on Tuesday evening (December 7) for our latest mock draft, which will be updated after all Week 13 games have been played.
33) Detroit Lions
Malik Willis, QB, Liberty
34) Jacksonville Jaguars
Drake Jackson, EDGE, USC
35) Houston Texans
Jordan Battle, S, Alabama
36) New York Jets
Jalen Wydermyer, TE, Texas A&M
37) Seattle Seahawks
Derion Kendrick, CB, Georgia
With no first-round pick, the Seahawks are looking to grab either a talented defender who falls into their lap or an offensive lineman to support their offense. In this case, they manage the former, taking one of the immensely talented Georgia defenders in Derion Kendrick. Kendrick has had some off-field issues mar his college career. However, on the field, he is a fine blend of athletic talent and technical skill.
38) Chicago Bears
Jalen Tolbert, WR, South Alabama
The Bears go out and grab one of the most unheralded top talents in the draft, netting Jalen Tolbert from South Alabama with their first pick. Tolbert’s body control is top-notch. He possesses the route running and savvy coverage understanding that should put him among the top performers as a rookie. Pairing him with Justin Fields should set the Bears up for a promising offense in the coming years.
39) New York Giants
Brandon Smith, LB, Penn State
40) Miami Dolphins
Isaiah Spiller, RB, Texas A&M
41) New York Jets
Kingsley Enagbare, EDGE, South Carolina

44) New Orleans Saints
Perrion Winfrey, DT, Oklahoma
45) Atlanta Falcons
Jermaine Johnson II, EDGE, Florida State
46) Cleveland Browns
Jameson Williams, WR, Alabama
47) Indianapolis Colts
David Bell, WR, Purdue
David Bell has a tendency to run hot and cold, which is why I don’t have him in the first round. However, when he is on, he’s almost impossible to stop. Bell has shown the ability to completely take over games. A true shark who can smell blood in the water, once Bell finds a weakness in a defense, he’s a menace.
48) Pittsburgh Steelers
Desmond Ridder, QB, Cincinnati
2022 NFL Mock Draft | Round 2, Picks 49-64
49) Las Vegas Raiders
Tre’Vius Hodges-Tomlinson, CB, TCU
50) Denver Broncos
Carson Strong, QB, Nevada
51) Washington Football Team
Lecitus Smith, G, Virginia Tech
52) San Francisco 49ers
Jaquan Brisker, S, Penn State
A former JUCO player who is expected to test extremely well, Jaquan Brisker has some of the highest upside of any secondary defender in the draft. He might not be as experienced as a starter as some of the other prospects in the class. Still, he took some serious steps forward in an expanded role in 2021 and should become a featured piece of his defense if deployed properly.
53) Los Angeles Chargers
Breece Hall, RB, Iowa State
54) Denver Broncos
Christian Harris, LB, Alabama
