4-Round NFL Mock Draft 2021: History made as quarterbacks dominate first round

    2021 4-Round NFL Mock Draft | Round 3, Picks 65-72

    65) Jacksonville Jaguars
Carlos Basham Jr., EDGE, Wake Forest

    66) New York Jets
    Nick Bolton, LB, Missouri

    67) Houston Texans
Amon-Ra St. Brown, WR, Southern California

After a massive offseason overhaul both on and off the field, the Houston Texans are almost a completely new franchise from the one that went 4-12 last season. While there may be some more changes still to come, this 2021 4-Round NFL Mock Draft kicks off by addressing two significant departures over the last 12 months.

The Texans’ wide receiver room has lost DeAndre Hopkins and Will Fuller, their primary weapons, and they haven’t been even close to adequately replaced. Amon-Ra St. Brown provides Houston with a versatile weapon that can play inside or outside. His route running and body control should make him an attractive proposition for the Texans.

Other positional options here include cornerback and safety. The Texans are particularly lacking in depth at the safety position.
