2021 NFL Mock Draft: How many quarterbacks go on Day 3?

    [sv slug=”nfl-draft-guide”]

2021 NFL Draft Order: Round 5

    145. Jacksonville Jaguars: Shaun Wade, DB, Ohio State

It feels a little cheap to take another former Ohio State player for Urban Meyer’s squad, but Shaun Wade is a great fit for Jacksonville. He can provide help at safety while also rotating in as a slot cornerback based on the situation. In the right role, he can be a solid player.

    146. New York Jets: Rashad Weaver, EDGE, Pittsburgh

    147. Houston Texans: Hamsah Nasirildeen, S/LB, Florida State

    148. Atlanta Falcons: Jordan Smith, EDGE, UAB

    149. Cincinnati Bengals: Drew Dalman, C, Stanford

    150. Philadelphia Eagles: Shi Smith, WR, South Carolina

    151. Chicago Bears: Austin Watkins Jr., WR, UAB

The Bears lost a lot of assets in a worthwhile endeavor to trade up for Justin Fields. Austin Watkins can help them recoup value. Watkins is a big-time sleeper in this class, with the smooth athleticism, route-running nuance, body control, and alpha mentality to be a legitimate weapon.

    152. Denver Broncos: Damar Hamlin, S, Pittsburgh

    153. Detroit Lions: Feleipe Franks, QB, Arkansas

    154. New York Jets: Talanoa Hufanga, S, USC

    155. San Francisco 49ers: Marlon Tuipulotu, DT, USC

The 49ers can still use some interior help alongside Javon Kinlaw. At this point in our Day 3 2021 NFL Mock Draft, Marlon Tuipulotu provides unmatched value. Tuipulotu is a stout, amped-up interior lineman, and his energy makes him a quality rotational player on Day 1.

    156. Miami Dolphins: Chuba Hubbard, RB, Oklahoma State

    157. Minnesota Vikings: Keith Taylor, CB, Washington

    158. Carolina Panthers: Charles Snowden, LB, Virginia

    159. Los Angeles Chargers: Jose Borregales, K, Miami

    160. Arizona Cardinals: Rodarius Williams, CB, Oklahoma State

    161. Buffalo Bills: Darius Stills, DT, West Virginia

    162. Las Vegas Raiders: Olaijah Griffin, CB, USC

    163. Washington Football Team: Demetric Felton, RB/WR, UCLA

Behind Antonio Gibson and receiving back J.D. McKissic, Washington doesn’t have ideal RB depth. Demetric Felton isn’t a traditional solution, but he has lots of experience at running back. Additionally, his versatility makes him yet another threat in Scott Turner’s offense.

    164. Denver Broncos: Hamilcar Rashed Jr., EDGE, Oregon State

    165. Indianapolis Colts: Jonathan Marshall, DT, Arkansas

    166. Tennessee Titans: Nick Eubanks, TE, Michigan

The Titans take a gamble at tight end here, selecting Michigan’s Nick Eubanks. Eubanks is largely a projection. However, the Michigan offense never does any favors for prospects, and Eubanks has the high-end athletic traits to develop into a key contributor.

    167. Las Vegas Raiders: Seth Williams, WR, Auburn

    168. Minnesota Vikings: Drue Chrisman, P, Ohio State

    169. Cleveland Browns: Quincy Roche, EDGE, Miami

    170. Jacksonville Jaguars: Tyler Shelvin, DT, LSU

    171. Baltimore Ravens: JaCoby Stevens, LB/S, LSU

It was a tumultuous draft season for JaCoby Stevens, but if he ends up in Baltimore because of it, it could be for the better. Stevens has impressive athletic tools. With the Ravens, he could see reps at both linebacker and box safety. His versatility makes him a valued asset.

    172. San Francisco 49ers: Garret Wallow, LB, TCU

    173. Green Bay Packers: Tommy Doyle, OT, Miami (OH)

    174. Buffalo Bills: Thomas Graham Jr., CB, Oregon

Like the Colts, the Bills also stacked edge rushers in Round 1 and Round 2. They’ll have to get a cornerback at some point, and Thomas Graham Jr. is a feasible pick in this Day 3 2021 NFL Mock Draft. He has fairly high upside in zone alignments with his instincts, hip fluidity, and ball skills.

    175. Kansas City Chiefs: Ar’Darius Washington, DB, TCU

    176. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Zech McPhearson, CB, Texas Tech

    177. New England Patriots: Jamien Sherwood, LB/S, Auburn

    178. Green Bay Packers: Janarius Robinson, EDGE, Florida State

    179. Dallas Cowboys: Jaelon Darden, WR, North Texas

    180. San Francisco 49ers: William Bradley-King, EDGE, Baylor

    181. Kansas City Chiefs: Briley Moore, TE, Kansas State

    182. Atlanta Falcons: Jamie Newman, QB, Wake Forest

The Falcons have many extra picks late in the draft, which allows them the flexibility to make this high-upside move in a low-risk manner. Jamie Newman has all the physical traits, with near-elite athleticism and a live arm. In Atlanta, he can learn at a comfortable pace.

    183. Atlanta Falcons: Cornell Powell, WR, Clemson

    184. Baltimore Ravens: Rhamondre Stevenson, RB, Oklahoma
