Round Six
164. Tennessee Titans (via JAX): Amen Ogbongbemiga, LB, Oklahoma State
165. New York Jets: Victor Dimukeje, EDGE, Duke
166. Atlanta Falcons: Damar Hamlin, S, Pitt
167. Houston Texans: D’Ante Smith, OT, East Carolina
The Texans need to continue to invest in their offensive line. Zach Fulton could be cut as a cap casualty this offseason. D’Ante Smith broke on to the Senior Bowl scene with his immense tools and certainly looked the part. The C-USA tackle took snaps at both tackle and guard in Mobile, helping his stock even more.
168. Philadelphia Eagles: Dazz Newsome, WR, North Carolina
169. Cincinnati Bengals: Shakur Brown, CB, Michigan State
170. Denver Broncos: Jordan Scott, DT, Oregon
171. Dallas Cowboys (via DET): Darren Hall, CB, San Diego State
172. Carolina Panthers: Cade Johnson, WR, South Dakota State
173. San Francisco 49ers: Frank Darby, WR, Arizona State
174. New England Patriots (via DAL): Tamorrion Terry, WR, Florida State
175. New York Giants: Chuba Hubbard, RB, Oklahoma State
176. New England Patriots: Khyiris Tonga, DT, BYU
177. Los Angeles Chargers: Jaylon Moore, OT, Western Michigan
Out of all the Senior Bowl offensive linemen, I’m not sure anyone “broke out” onto the national scene more than Jaylon Moore. Moore looked light on his feet in practices and looked outstanding in pass protection virtually all week.
He started 31 straight games at left tackle for Western Michigan. While the Chargers drafted Darrisaw in this 2021 7-round NFL Mock Draft, Moore can start right away at guard as the Dan Feeney/Forrest Lamp replacement.
178. Minnesota Vikings: Tyler Vaughns, WR, USC
179. New York Giants (via ARI): Shi Smith, WR, South Carolina
180. Houston Texans (via MIA): Rakeem Boyd, RB, Arkansas
181. Las Vegas Raiders (via WAS): Alaric Jackson, OT, Iowa
182. Chicago Bears: Jamie Newman, QB, Georgia
183. Los Angeles Chargers (via TEN): Elijah Mitchell, RB, Louisiana
184. Indianapolis Colts: Jamar Johnson, S, Indiana
185. Miami Dolphins (via PIT): Paris Ford, S, Pitt
186. Seattle Seahawks: Aashari Crosswell, S, Arizona State
187. Los Angeles Rams: Kayode Awosika, OT, Buffalo
The Rams are playing with fire at the left tackle position. Andrew Whitworth is almost 40 years old and is coming off of a nasty MCL tear and damaged PCL. When he returned, he was noticeably better than Joe Noteboom, but it was clear he was bothered by the injury.
The Rams need to invest in that position’s future, and it’s not on the current roster. Kayode Awosika is a name that’s not popular among media right now, but the Buffalo product is a nasty blocker who has played both right and left tackle in college.
188. Baltimore Ravens: Quintin Morris, TE, Bowling Green
189. Cleveland Browns: Joshuah Bledsoe, S, Missouri
190. Houston Texans (via NO): Charles Snowden, LB, Virginia
191. Buffalo Bills: Patrick Johnson, EDGE, Tulane
192. Green Bay Packers: Robert Hainsey, OL, Notre Dame
Corey Linsley and Lane Taylor are projected free agents. Billy Turner and Rick Wagner could both become cap casualties as well. The Packers invested into the offensive line last year, but Robert Hainsey would be an invaluable addition to their offensive line. The Notre Dame product played well in Mobile at the Senior Bowl and can play at both guard and tackle.
193. Pittsburgh Steelers (via TB): Deommodore Lenoir, CB, Oregon
194. Tennessee Titans (via KC): Malcolm Koonce, EDGE, Buffalo
