    Hodgkinson’s 4-round 2021 NFL Mock Draft

    Round 3

    65) New York Jets: Hamilcar Rashed Jr., EDGE Oregon State

    66) Jacksonville Jaguars: Paulson Adebo, CB Stanford

    67) Cincinnati Bengals: Jaelen Phillips, EDGE Miami

    68) Dallas Cowboys: Darius Stills, DT West Virginia

    69) Los Angeles Chargers: Terrace Marshall Jr., WR Louisiana State

    70) Philadelphia Eagles: Rasheed Walker, OT Penn State

    71) Carolina Panthers: Israel Mukuamu, CB South Carolina

    72) Atlanta Falcons: Deommodore Lenoir, CB Oregon

    73) Houston Texans: Kenneth Gainwell, RB Memphis

The Houston Texans have a distinct lack of draft capital thanks to some questionable trades made during the Bill O’Brien era. Whoever his long-term replacement is, they won’t have many picks to fill multiple holes, including cornerback, safety, and linebacker on the defensive side. Offensively, running back and the offensive line will be the areas that need addressing to help Deshaun Watson maximize his potential and help the Texans to become competitive again in the AFC South.

Kenneth Gainwell offers a blend of explosiveness, vision, and superb contact balance, making him difficult to take down in the open field. His ability as a pass-catching back fits the mold of the modern-day NFL running back perfectly. At 5-foot-11 and 190 pounds, he has a similar build to Christian McCaffrey and a skillset to match.

    74) Denver Broncos: Baron Browning, LB Ohio State

    75) Washington Football Team: Kenny Yeboah, TE Ole Miss

    76) Detroit Lions: Andre Cisco, S Syracuse

    77) Washington Football Team: Kadarius Toney, WR Florida

    80) Las Vegas Raiders: Deonte Brown, OG Alabama

    81) Minnesota Vikings: Anthony Schwartz, WR Auburn

    82) New York Giants: Rodarius Williams, CB Oklahoma State

    83) Arizona Cardinals: Joe Tryon, LB Washington

    84) Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Tyler Shelvin, DT Louisiana State

    85) Miami Dolphins: Josh Myers, OC Ohio State

    86) Indianapolis Colts: Teven Jenkins, OT Oklahoma State

    87) Cleveland Browns: Kolby Harvell-Peel, S Oklahoma State

    88) Los Angeles Rams: James Wiggins, S Cincinnati
