    2021 NFL Draft Trade Tracker: Day 1 Trades

    What trades impacted the first day of the 2021 NFL Draft, and which players were selected with those selections?

    3rd Overall Pick (Multiple Trades): Houston Texans to San Francisco 49ers via Miami Dolphins

    Trey Lance, QB, NDSU

    The third overall pick was traded twice. Originally, it was traded to Miami as part of the Tunsil trade. The 49ers gave up first-round selections in 2021, 2022, and 2023, as well as a third-round selection in 2022 to obtain the third pick from the Dolphins.

    6th Overall Pick: Philadelphia Eagles to Miami Dolphins

    Jaylen Waddle, WR, Alabama

    The Dolphins acquired the No. 6 selection along with No. 156 from the Eagles. In return, the Dolphins sent first-round selections in 2021 and 2022 as well as the 123rd overall selection.

    10th Overall Pick: Dallas Cowboys to Philadelphia Eagles

    DeVonta Smith, WR, Alabama

    Philadelphia acquired the 10th overall selection in exchange for the 12th and 84th overall selections.

    11th Overall Pick: New York Giants to Chicago Bears

    Justin Fields, QB, Ohio State

    The Bears traded up to the 11th overall selection. In return, the Giants received the 20th and 164th overall selections in 2021, and a first and fourth-round selection in 2022.

    12th Overall Pick (Multiple Trades): San Francisco 49ers to Dallas Cowboys via Miami Dolphins and Philadelphia Eagles

    Micah Parson, LB, Penn State

    The 12th pick in the 2021 NFL Draft has been traded three times. The Dolphins originally acquired the selection as part of the trade where the 49ers acquired the third overall pick. Philadelphia acquired the selection as part of the trade for the sixth overall pick with the Dolphins. Finally, the Cowboys acquired the pick as part of the trade that saw the Eagles move up to the No. 10 pick.

    14th Overall Pick: Minnesota Vikings to New York Jets

    Alijah Vera-Tucker, OG/T, USC

    The Jets traded up to the 14th and 143rd overall selection to draft Alijah Vera-Tucker. The Vikings received the 23rd, 66th, and 86th overall selection in return.

    20th Overall Pick: Chicago Bears to New York Giants

    Kadarius Toney, WR, Florida

    The Giants acquired the 20th overall selection as part of the trade that saw the Bears move up to No. 11.

    23rd Overall Pick (Multiple Trades): Seattle Seahawks to Minnesota Vikings via New York Jets

    Christian Darrisaw, OT, Virginia Tech

    The 23rd overall selection has been traded twice. The first trade saw the Jets acquire the 23rd and 86th picks, a 2022 first-round selection, and safety Bradley McDougald. In return, the Seahawks received Jamal Adams and a fourth-round selection in 2022.

    The second trade saw the Vikings acquire the selection when the Jets moved up to the 11th overall selection.

    25th Overall Pick: Los Angeles Rams to Jacksonville Jaguars

    Travis Etienne, RB, Clemson

    The Jaguars received first-round selections in 2020 and 2021, along with the 130th pick in a trade with the Rams. Los Angeles received cornerback Jalen Ramsey.

    31st Overall Pick: Kansas City Chiefs to Baltimore Ravens

    Jayson Oweh, DE, Penn State

    The Ravens acquired this selection in the trade for Orlando Brown Jr.

    35th Overall Pick: Atlanta Falcons to Denver Broncos

    Javonte Williams, RB, North Carolina

    The Broncos acquired the 35th and 219th pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. The Falcons received pick 40 and 114 in 2021.

    36th Overall Pick: Houston Texans to Miami Dolphins

    Jevon Holland, S, Oregon

    The Dolphins acquired the 36th overall selection as part of the trade for Laremy Tunsil. The Texans sent first-round selections in 2020 and 2021, the 36th overall pick, Julién Davenport, and Jonathan Bademosi. In return, the Texans received Tunsil, Kenny Stills, the 202nd pick in 2021, and a fourth-round selection in 2020.

    38th Overall Pick: Cincinnati Bengals to New England Patriots

    Christian Barmore, DT, Alabama

    The Patriots acquired the 38th pick from the Bengals, sending the 46th, 122nd, and 139th picks in return.

    39th Overall Pick: Carolina Panthers to Chicago Bears

    Teven Jenkins, OT, Oklahoma State

    The Bears acquired the 39th and 151st pick from the Panthers, sending the 52nd, 83rd, and 204th picks in return.

    40th Overall Pick: Denver Broncos to Atlanta Falcons

    Richie Grant, S, UCF

    The Falcons received the 40th and 114th pick from the Broncos. In return, the Broncos got the 35th and 219th pick.

    42nd Overall Pick: New York Giants to Miami Dolphins

    Liam Eichenberg, OT, Notre Dame

    The Dolphins acquired the 42nd pick from the Giants. In return, the Giants received the 50th pick and a third-round selection in 2022.

    43rd Overall Pick: San Francisco 49ers to Las Vegas Raiders

    Trevon Moehrig, S, TCU

    The Raiders acquired the 43rd and 230th pick from the 49ers. In return, the 49ers received the 48th and 121st pick.

    45th Overall Pick: Minnesota Vikings to Jacksonville Jaguars

    Walker Little, OT, Stanford

    The Jaguars acquired this selection and a 2022 fifth-round selection when they acquired Yannick Ngakoue from the Jaguars.

    46th Overall Pick: New England Patriots to Cincinnati Bengals

    Carman Jackson, OT, Clemson

    The Bengals acquired the 46th, 122nd, and 139th picks. In return, the Patriots acquired the 38th pick.

    48th Overall Pick: Las Vegas Raiders to San Francisco 49ers

    Aaron Banks, OG, Notre Dame

    The 49ers acquired the 48th and 121st pick. In return, the Raiders acquired the 43rd and 230th pick from the 49ers.

    50th Overall Pick: Miami Dolphins to New York Giants

    Azeez Ojulari, OLB, Georgia

    The Giants acquired the 50th pick and a third-round selection in 2022, sending the 42nd pick to Miami in return.

    52nd Overall Pick (Multiple Trades): Chicago Bears to Cleveland Brown (via Carolina Panthers)

    Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, LB, Notre Dame

    The Panthers acquired the 52nd, 83rd, and 204th picks. In return, the Bears acquired the 39th and 151st pick. The Panthers then traded pick 52 and 113 to the Browns for 59 and 89.

    58th Overall Pick: Baltimore Ravens to Kansas City Chiefs

    Nick Bolton, LB, Missouri

    The Chiefs acquired Orlando Brown Jr. in a pre-draft trade with the Ravens. The Chiefs also received the 58th overall selection and a 2022 sixth-round selection. Meanwhile, the Ravens received the 31st, 94th, and 136th overall selection, as well as a 2022 fifth-round selection.

    59th Overall Pick: Cleveland Browns to Carolina Panthers

    Terrace Marshall Jr., WR, LSU

    The Panthers acquired the 59th and 89th selections, sending the 52nd and 113th picks to the Browns.

    66th Overall Pick: New York Jets to Minnesota Vikings

    Kellen Mond, QB, Texas A&M

    The Vikings received this selection as part of the Jets’ trade up during Day 1 of the 2021 NFL Draft. The Vikings also received the 23rd and 86th overall selections.

    70th Overall Pick: Philadelphia Eagles to Carolina Panthers

    Brady Christensen, OT, BYU

    The Panthers acquired the 70th pick, sending picks 73 and 191 to the Eagles in return.

    71st Overall Pick: Denver Broncos to New York Giants

    Aaron Robinson, CB, UCF

    The Giants acquired pick 71, sending the 76th and 164th picks to the Broncos in return.

    73rd Overall Pick: Carolina Panthers to Philadelphia Eagles

    Milton Williams, DT, Louisiana Tech

    The Eagles acquired the 73rd and 191st pick, sending the 70th selection to the Panthers in return.

    74th Overall Pick: San Francisco 49ers to Washington Football Team

    Benjamin St-Juste, CB, Minnesota

    The Washington Football Team acquired the 74th overall pick as well as a fifth-round selection in 2020 when the 49ers acquired Trent Williams.

    76th Overall Pick (Multiple Trades): New York Giants to New Orleans (via Denver Broncos)

    Paulson Adebo, CB, Stanford

    The Broncos acquired picks 71 and 164, sending the 71st pick to the Giants in return. The Saints then acquired the 76th pick, sending the Broncos the 98th and 105th picks.

    79th Overall Pick: Arizona Cardinals to Las Vegas Raiders

    Malcolm Koonce, OLB, Buffalo

    The Cardinals sent the 79th selection to the Raiders in return for Rodney Hudson and the 247th selection.

    83rd Overall Pick: Chicago Bears to Carolina Panthers

    Tommy Tremble, TE, Notre Dame

    The Panthers acquired the 52nd, 83rd, and 204th picks. In return, the Bears acquired the 39th and 151st pick.

    84th Overall Pick (Multiple Trades): Indianapolis Colts to Dallas Cowboys (via Philadelphia)

    Chauncey Golston, DE, Iowa

    The 84th selection has been traded twice. The first time was part of the Carson Wentz trade when the Colts acquired Wentz. In return, the Eagles received the 84th pick and a conditional third-round selection.

    The second time the pick was part of the Day 1 trade that saw the Eagles move up to 10th overall.

    85th Overall Pick: Tennessee Titans to Green Bay Packers

    Amari Rodgers, WR, Clemson

    The Packer receive pick 85, sending the 92nd and 135th pick to Tennessee.

    86th Overall Pick (Multiple Trades): Seattle Seahawks to Minnesota Vikings (via New York Jets)

    Wyatt Davis, G, Ohio State

    The 86th overall selection was traded twice as part of trades involving first-round selections. The Jets acquired the pick as part of the Jamal Adams trades. They then sent the selection to the Vikings as part of the deal to move up to the 14th overall pick.

    88th Overall Pick: Los Angeles Rams to San Francisco 49ers

    Trey Sermon, RB, Ohio State

    The 49ers receive the 88th pick, sending the 117th and 121st picks to the Rams.

    89th Overall Pick: Cleveland Browns to Houston Texans (via Carolina Panthers)

    Nico Collins, WR, Michigan

    The Panthers acquired the 59th and 89th selections, sending the 52nd and 113th picks to the Browns. The Panthers traded the 89th selection to the Texans for picks 109, 158, and a 2022 fourth-round pick.

    90th Overall Pick: Baltimore Ravens to Minnesota Vikings

    Patrick Jones, DE, Pittsburgh

    This selection was the second pick in the draft traded in return for Ngakoue. This time, the Ravens sent the 90th overall selection and a conditional 2022 fifth-round pick to Minnesota.

    91st Overall Pick: New Orleans Saints to Cleveland Browns

    Anthony Schwartz, WR, Auburn

    The Saints sent the 91st overall selection to the Browns, along with a 2020 third-round selection. In return, the Saints moved up in the third round in 2020 while also receiving a seventh-round selection last year.

    92nd Overall Pick: Green Bay Packers to Tennessee Titans

    Monty Rice, LB, Georgia

    The Titans receive picks 92 and 135, sending the 85th pick to Tennessee.

    94th Overall Pick: Kansas City Chiefs to Baltimore Ravens

    Ben Cleveland, G, Georgia

    This selection was traded as part of the Orlando Brown trade.
