2021 Dynasty Superflex Mock Draft | Second Round
11) Justin Herbert (QB7 – Los Angeles Chargers)
First-round pick: Dalvin Cook
Starting the second round of a Superflex mock with the QB that just won the 2020 NFL Rookie of the Year could not have gone any better.
The Oregon product finished sixth in passing yards (4,336), 10th in touchdown passes (31), 12th in passer rating (98.3), and had only 10 interceptions in his rookie season.
This person also has an ace up their sleeve, the rookie 1.01. In many dynasty startups, the rookie draft will go in inverse order of the startup if you are drafting the picks or slots themselves. This means they already have Trevor Lawrence too on their team. This information is massive, as you can use this when making your mock draft picks.
Chess, not checkers.
12) Derrick Henry (RB5 – Tennessee Titans)
First-round pick: Saquon Barkley
Not quite the ideal start watching Justin Herbert go the pick before, but the consolation prize is the best 1-2 RB punch in this 2021 Superflex mock draft. It’s hard to be upset with the guy who just ran for over 2,000 yards the previous season. At some point, the volume will catch up with Henry. At the first sign, flip him. But until then, ride him until the wheels fall off.
Like with the person before, they have the 1.02 and know that by going RB/RB, they can snag Justin Fields (QB2 in my 2021 dynasty rookie rankings).
13) Alvin Kamara (RB6 – New Orleans Saints)
First-round pick: Lamar Jackson
It’s not often you see a guy finish at the top of his position, end the season with no injuries, but fall in value.
The question surrounding Alvin Kamara is all about who will be under center for the Saints in 2021, as it’s unlikely to be Drew Brees.
He is the best receiving back in the NFL, no question. In the four games that Brees missed this season, Kamara averaged just 2.5 receptions, 12.8 receiving yards, and no touchdowns with backup and potential replacement Taysom Hill. That destroys his value and why you see him falling in 2021 fantasy football Superflex dynasty mock drafts.
14) Davante Adams (WR1 – Green Bay Packers)
First-round pick: Dak Prescott
At pick 2.04, we see the first WR go off the board, and it’s Davante Adams.

Get used to hearing this in every Superflex mock draft you read, “WR is deep.” Well, it is, and this shows it. The debate is between Adams and D.K. Metcalf for the WR1 title. While I love Metcalf, Adams can do something he can’t yet — beat every single cornerback in the NFL. Adams made every CB look foolish on his way to scoring 18 touchdowns.
Metcalf has the age on his side, but Adams has Aaron Rodgers.
15) Russell Wilson (QB8 – Seattle Seahawks)
First-round pick: Jonathan Taylor
Since coming into the NFL in 2012, Russell Wilson has never finished worse than QB11. Five of those seasons Wilson finished inside the top six.
There are sounds of friction coming out of Seattle between the sides, and there is a constant concern that Pete Carroll will keep Wilson grounded and rely on the rushing game.
16) Tyreek Hill (WR2 – Kansas City Chiefs)
First-round pick: Deshaun Watson
Tyreek Hill finished as the WR2 in total and average fantasy points in 2020. He scored 15 touchdowns, saw 135 targets, and had 1,276 yards. The Chiefs’ offense will not slow down anytime soon, and Hill will continue to burn secondaries.
Superflex dynasty mock drafts are all about finding value in 2021. Sitting in the middle of the fantasy football mock draft allows the players to come to you rather than chasing.
17) D.K. Metcalf (WR3 – Seattle Seahawks)
First-round pick: Christian McCaffrey
D.K. Metcalf ended as the WR7 with 271.3 PPR points. However, the way the season ended left a bad taste in your mouth. From Weeks 1 through 9, Metcalf was the WR3. Yet, from Weeks 10 through 17, he was the WR23 and averaged 12.9 PPR points per game. Furthermore, over the last five games, he scored just 11.5 points per game and was the WR38.
No one can deny he is an incredible talent just waiting to take off in the NFL. We have seen what he can do. Metcalf just needs to put it together and win against the best corners in the NFL. This is why Adams comes in ahead of him. Their results against the same competition (Jalen Ramsey) speak volumes. Metcalf is only 23 and still learning, as scary as that is.
18) Stefon Diggs (WR4 – Buffalo Bills)
First-round pick: Josh Allen
Bills Mafia, this is for you. There was no way in this 2021 Superflex mock draft I could not pair up Stefon Diggs with Allen if the chance were there.
Diggs had 265.1 fantasy points in 16 games and was the highest-targeted wide receiver in the NFL with 166 targets. He had 127 receptions for 1,535 yards and 8 touchdowns. Buffalo is no longer a rushing-based offense. Imagine what he and Allen can do with a full offseason together.
19) D’Andre Swift (RB7 – Detroit Lions)
First-round pick: Kyler Murray
We saw towards the end of the 2020 season, the Lions give Swift a shot at a full workload, and it paid off.
From Week 10 through 17, he averaged 85 yards and a touchdown per game along with 17.6 PPR. They have a new head coach in Dan Campbell and offensive coordinator in Anthony Lynn. While reports of a 25-touch workload are a bit high, we could easily see usage similar to what Austin Ekeler saw with Lynn.
20) Nick Chubb (RB8 – Cleveland Browns)
First-round pick: Patrick Mahomes
Chubb had 207.7 fantasy points in just 12 games last year, and he should be an elite RB1 if he can stay healthy in 2021. He is one of the best pure rushers in the NFL. The one downside is splitting the backfield with Kareem Hunt
