2020 NFL Draft: Bengals desperate for a quarterback

On the biggest stage and under the brightest lights, Joe Burrow officially let everyone know he has arrived. While he doesn’t possess the physical traits of a Justin Herbert nor is he the polished player that Tua Tagovailoa is, he has played at an elite level in 2019, which has him well on his way to win the Heisman and a potential National Championship. He is leading the #1 rated LSU Tigers football team to glory, beating elite competition along the way. Burrow, born in Athens, Ohio, could be the hometown hero that brings the Cincinnati Bengals to relevance.

Over the last few years, we have seen the hot prospect go with the first overall pick. In 2018 it was Baker Mayfield and in 2019 it was Kyler Murray. This year will be no different, and there is no player in college football with more momentum than Joe Burrow.

Is there a better scenario for the Bengals than a quarterback born in Ohio, coming off potentially winning a National Championship, and possibly achieving the Heisman trophy, being drafted to be the face of your franchise?
